He is much better yes , but still not completely sold on him , it took two 10 days guys for him to finally wake the **** up , it means two things
1 he is lazy
2 he took his position for granted
Or both

I think it was more the mental part of the game. He always looked good physically but he just looked lost on the floor.

Or he's a 21 year old big drafted in the late first. They take time to develop. Day'Ron has accomplished more than Claxton did at this age. I'm not saying he'll be better, but you have to have patience.

I'll keep banging this drum but Clax is a PF.
I just don't see him as a long term C. I'm not down to pay him $20M+ for below average rebounding and getting dominated by any big with size.

With Naz Reid ability to shoot, he wouldnt be a bad free agent to target. Him and clax in the frontcourt could work he has the size to battle the bigger centers.

I just think Vaughn doesn't give him playing time. Young guys like this you have to give playing time so they can figure it out, not bury him on the bench for months on in.

GSW won chips without traditional C. They play Dray at C for over 20 min. Looney can't get of the bench come 2nd half.
Saltics don't have one C over 6.9
Bucks won a chip after they gave Portis min and pretty much benched B.LO. they got smoked in a 1st two games.
Who was the C for LA in a bubble?
How Philly doing exactly with Biid? Chicago with Vuc? Denver? Minny? Name one legit C who went to finals in a past 10-15 years?
Nic is a C and will get paid for a good reasons. Dude improved his FT% in last 10 games to what 80%.
Need legit playmaker more than anything right now.

Tbf to JV, Sharpe did not look ready at all earlier on in the season. But yeah, young players need space to make mistakes.

I'll be pissed if Marks doesn't throw the bag at Naz. Offer him money and the chance to start.

This is a 2nd game I'm able to watch. This is Wiz Dinwiddie who they canned after half season.
We don't have one player who can make a play, NOT ONE!!!
Bridges is Khris before Bud took over. Legit two way player who is borderline all star. Good 2nd option for a chip team.

Naz as a starter c'mon man.
There is a reason no one traded or asking him to be a starter.

Not only that, but KD, Kyrie and Harden weren't going to have patience for young guys to work their way through mistakes. There's more opportunity to learn on the fly now.

Telling y'all, we need Taylor Hendricks or healthy Isaac to mitigate rebounding and spacing issue while improving D. They can switch 1-5 just like Nic does while shooting over 37% from 3.
This team ain't going nowhere without dominant scorer/playmaker. Pretty much 1a option all star. Dame is not that, not anymore. He's washed up just like Harden.

Every game I am astonished how awful Dinwiddie's lobs are. You'd think that I wouldn't be so surprised anymore but I still can't believe what I am seeing.
