Just going to put up Net Income's article.

Also, there are still free tickets for this Saturdays "Practice in the Park". With the expected bad weather, they are switching the location Brooklyn Bridge Part to the Barclays Center.

Mentioned before that I had the same operation as Ben, recovery is 12-18 months and he had the surgery in May last year

No way that he should have been playing before Xmas last season at the absolute earliest

He definitely seems to be playing with more joy... I'm cautiously optimistic, he still doesn't seem to be 100% his old self speed wise, but that could just be him ramping himself up and not wanting to go 110% in preseason...

Man, I keep forgetting Kevin Ollie is an assistant. So many good, underrated moves by Marks, imo.

Microdiscectomy surgery is: walking the next day, weights in 6 weeks. Stop your nonsense.

I had 4 screws put into my spine and was playing ball in 3 months.

Professional sports are different as the stresses on 6’10” Simmons in the NBA are different to what we hacks put our bodies through

My son is an elite sportsman who suffered the same injury albeit in a different sport

His operation was performed by one of the best (guy who fixed Tiger) and he coordinated his rehabilitation with the team.

Jr was out for a year and 2 YEARS later, he’s still on load management and has MRIs every couple of weeks

Don't apologies. This guy obviously doesn't know what he is talking about. I had the same injury and the exact same thing happened to me. Ben Simmons had the surgery that caused a nerve impingement. Which is the issue of what happened to him last year. A pinned nerve makes you feel like your glutes all the way down your leg is injured every time you put weight on it. I don't really know how Nets staff didn't catch this cause it's very typical on herniated disc

do play high level ball every single day for hours, plus traveling and practicing? Can't compare your little YMCA run every other week to a player that does this every single day of their lives literally. That's like me saying I was able to pitch in 3 months off a tommy john surgery, why can't any of these MLB pitchers do it to.?
