GT: Bulls @ Nets | 11/26 | 7:30 PM

Post#1 » by Stone » Sun Nov 26, 2023 2:29 pm

Our second back to back of the season. Coming off a convincing win over the shorthanded Heat last game. We had some players log some heavy minutes, so we will probably see Lonnie and Trendon see more burn tonight.

It was great to see our rookies Dariq Whitehead and Noah Clowney make their NBA debut last night. Congrats to both of them.

Nets injury report remains the same ..

Ben, Cam and Dennis Smith Jr.

Bulls injury report

Zach LaVine is day to day. Right foot soreness.
Alex Caruso day to day also...foot
Lonzo....hopefully we will see him suit up and play in the NBA again

OK I hate to ask this during a ginormous comeback... but why does Lonnie Walker IV wear #8? (shouldn't that be divided by 2?!?!?!)

Franchise records for most 3s in a quarter and a half. Perhaps my worst nightmare. Vaughn will have the shooting more than ever.

Right, so if they don't have any 1st quarters like that going forward, that would be awesome.

Good win. 8-8 with this roster really isn’t bad, and I think for the most part, we’ve been competitive.

It's crazy how all of a sudden we're still a great 3 pt shooting team with Curry and Joe Harris leaving. Lonnie Walker has been insane this year. Royce O'neale has had his share of good games too. We're playing as a team but I'm shocked that we this solid on offense.

Team is playing well. Were literally missing 3 starts right now.

Will be interesting to see what we look like with Thomas, Claxton and Simmons all back. Hopefully soon.

We're really not that good on offense. We just play fast, small, and shoot a lot of 3s. This can win games against teams like the Bulls, but against better teams that can play a little defense and control tempo, our offense becomes very ugly to watch; Lots of half court isos, and no ball movement.

As RJ said in a previous game, we do not have a Bread and Butter play that we can go to, when the offense is dying.

yea our offense is trash but I didn't think we'll be able to still put up points without CamT. We're still shooting really good from 3 which is surprising.
