All-"No" Star voting

Post#1 » by Da big3 » Thu Jan 3, 2008 10:07 pm

This is the breakdown of top votes

Turkeyglue shouldnt be in front of Jefferson, Turkeyglue is averaging 19.6 that isnt even in the top ten nor 20 pionts a game

Jefferson is having a nasty season, he is averaging 24.5 points a game, thats .4 points less then DWADe imean D-whistle, who is getting top votes,

Geuss who is better then jefferson in allstar no voting, Turkeyglue teammmate Rashard Scoorge, who is averaging 18 pionts shooting

I know Prince is a defensive wiz but that dosnt qualify him for the top votes at 13.6 points, and Yi at 10 points, now we are talking in the range of ROGER McCants and CHRIS WILOX

JEFFERSON shouldnt be a resvere a starter, I Have never seen a leading score fighting for a spot, if he dosnt this will be a bigtime snub

on the brightside, Kidd and VC are in the top, Agent 0 is injured but in the top a waste of roster spot, he sucked when he played WTF?

so VOTE 4 RICHARD JEFFERSON

I'll vote for RJ but the All-Star game has just become too much of a joke.

Ray Allen just took the lead over VC all the hype has helped KG, Paul and Ray but no way Ray get's the go over VC for the 3rd spot for gaurds that's crazy what are voters thinking. RJ is no where near the list they have to change this fan voting system it's stupid.

If Allen gets in over Vince that would really suck =/ you can't have a good All-Star game without Vince...

I don't know bout you guys, but I think the coaches are gonna be hesitant to put in 3 Nets players in the all star game due to our poor record. Thats why we gotta keep winning to show em we deserve 3 all stars in that game! I really hope RJ gets in.

**** whats the point... i understand its sort of an ego thing among us fans where we want to see our players in the allstar game, but if they dont get in its no big deal cuz, A) itll give our guys time to rest, heal up, and clear their minds for the final run and B) no one really remembers everyone who was in the allstar game after the fact... but RJ deserves his first all star appearance (unless im forgetting that he made it, which i guess makes my point B for myself)

Can you explain why not? why a top 5 PPG player that gets to the line as much as anyone can't be an Allstar? Don't tell me because the nets suck that's not even a vaild point when the whole east stinks at this point with the exception of 3 or 4 teams at this moment at least the Nets have had a good Dec and are almost 500 now they are on a roll and RJ is an Allstar just as much as any other SF in the east with the exeption of LBJ and KG lol.

The voting for the Starters of the Allstar Game is a BIG joke.

How many times can you vote?

The big names will always get more votes. RJ is under the radar with fans.

The year VC got in when he was hurt all year was a perfect example.

RJ will get voted in by the coaches especially if the Nets go a run and climb up the standings. I also agree will the coaches put in 3 Nets. If the Nets heat it up, maybe.

If Okur is an all-star then yes, Jefferson is an all-star.

hell yea he is, hes just such a team player that he defers to VC most of the time.. .we've seen what he can do when vince is out, hes still very productive... but of coure the voting is a joke, its safe to say yao will make the allstar game til the day he retires, and probly soon same thing with yi with the amount of people who vote them in from china

See, in any other year I might agree. It's just that the bar's been raised now. Is he having a better season than the 4 of these guys?

F- KG
F- LBJ
F- Bosh
F- Pierce

The only one who's really arguable is Pierce, but Boston's record would easily give him the edge because he's putting up numbers in a more meaningful season for his team. An argument could even be made that Hedo Turkoglu is having a better all-around season than RJ (on a winning team, also).

It's harder to become an all-star now because there's so much talent. The numbers of yesteryear aren't good enough anymore. Take a look at the competition for WCF guards. It's crazy.
