As of January 6, 2008 Kidd is...

- 20 Games from 1,000
- 3 Triple Doubles from 100
- 355 Rebounds from 7,000
- 29 Steals from 2,000
- 883 Points from 15,000

9,056 Assists - 5 Assists from Isiah Thomas for 5th place on All-Time Assists (6 to have sole possession)
6,555 Rebounds - 67 Rebounds from Michael Jordan (68 to have sole possession of 3rd place) and 72 Rebounds from Clyde Drexler (73 to have sole possession of 2nd place) for All-Time Rebounds By A Guard (Oscar Robertson - 7,804).
1,287 3-Pointers Made - 39 3-Pointers from moving into Top 10 in All-Time 3-Pointers Made (Peja Stojakovic is 12 3-Pointers Made behind Kidd. Kidd is currently 14th place on All-Time 3-Pointers Made.

My math could be wrong so someone will have to double check.

On top of this ALTHOUGH HIGHLY UNLIKELY he is coming within the reality of averaging a triple double for the season, although that would mean he would basically have to get double digit rebound totals for almost evry game the rest of the season.

Imagine that though?!

With 49 games left J Kidd would need 530 rebounds to average 10 pergame. That would mean he would have to pull in about 11 per game. It would be pretty incredible at his age to pull that off. But at the level he's palying at I believe it possible.

Good post Raneman we needed a J Kidd appreation type thread. I nominate it for a sticky!
