07 Playoffs Round 1: Canucks vs. Stars

Post#1 » by rplus » Thu Apr 12, 2007 6:56 am

Game 1 between the Canucks and the Stars is currently in OT!!

Hopefully the Nucks can take Stars in 5 or 6 games.
If you live in Vancouver, you know the playoff fever is crazy!

Funny my first post is in the Canucks forum, I usually use RealGM to check on my favourite team, The Raptors, ever since 2000. Alas, the maturity level in the Raptor forum is much less than desired. Anyway, I hope 3rd seed is the charm for both the Canucks and the Raptors this year!

Go Canucks Go!

What a game! IMO Canucks have the best chance of all Canadian teams!

I think this is one of the more intruiging matchups in the playoffs. Both teams are quite equal, and it could go either way. I'm liking this Turco/Luongo showdown thus far.

Canucks will take this over the Stars in OT. The stars dont really deserve to win this series considering the've been outplayed alot.

I don't know HOW anyone could possibly say this. Both teams have scored the same amount of goals in the 5 games so far, both teams can't mount any kind of attack. Every goal is either garbage, or a lucky bounce.

The Canucks can't rely on Luongo throughout the playoffs, especially if they win and move on.

Their offensive production definitely needs improvement, everybody needs to step it up a notch. Throw pucks on net from wherever you are, hope for rebounds, create chances...do whatever it takes.
