The worst lead in all of hockey -- Caps with a 2-0 lead over the Pens after two periods. We can't sit back and play too defensively here. We have to keep on the attack and play the third period on Pittsburg's end of the ice.

5-0 Caps! It's a complete rout. It's not a fluke score, the Caps are skating and playing that much better than the Pens.
PPG Paints arena is emptying out with a good 7+ minutes to go in the game. The silence of the crowd -- indeed, the now absence of the crowd -- feeds my joy.
