I thought people said he hogs the ball too much.

Plus, more importantly for me, the guy is always hurt.

We can’t get guys like this under Thibs. It just won’t here.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

All things equal, it’s not a bad way to lose

You can’t win playoff games without your best players healthy

Literally we have zero healthy frontline players — so it’s death by natural causes. What can you do?

The Pacers will get demolished by Boston

I don’t even think iHart is healthy … our best player is probably Hart now and Thibs is experimenting with unheard of minutes with him too

I’m sure we’d take a step back with any other coach we find but it seems to me the smoke around the way Thibs coaches — there’s some fire there, question is how much

He didn’t hurt Randle but Randle may start getting hurt now in his older years and he isn’t very good anyway, let’s be honest. He’s the worst playoff player in history statistically — and he maybe thinks he’s underpaid, focused on an extension, etc. It is not crazy to conclude that unless a doctor told him no way he can play

Anyway the point is — if you want to be great you have to make hardheaded and critical decisions. IMO you are not winning a title with Randle

And Thibs is at a point where the floor is certainly high but what’s the future

I don’t think you win a title without figuring out who to toss off the boat in time — but that’s certainly a tough decision

If we lose we all know its due to the war of attrition. Not a fun way to go out... and honestly I'm kinda tired of having to root for a thoroughly exhausted team at half strength.

The question is what can we do so that this doesn't happen next year?

y'all know all too well why the team is exhausted as hell.

that man

Mostly bad luck ...but yeah he's has got to use the depth we have next season.

There’s not much you can do. Most of the injuries were just flukey and bad luck. Randle’s fall, Bojan getting fallen on by Batum, Mitch getting **** by Embiid…the only one that’s not flukey I guess would be OG. For him? I dk. Limit his minutes and give his body extra treatment after every game as a precaution?

We need to draft a solid backup wing too. Some heady senior who can contribute immediately.

This series was never gonna be a cakewalk even with OG & perfect substitution patterns

They are frauds, I think it would have been a near cakewalk.

The Knicks have been one of the healthiest teams in the league since Thibs has been here. This season was a fluke. If Thibs has a good bench he has shown he will play them

It was 4:30 am start where I live.
I got up around 5:20 and checked score then went back to sleep.

Don't worry we will bounce back like always do.
Good thing we have home court advantage.
Knicks in 7 or 6 if OG comes back.

His chin was hurt by Burks seriously, how can he play longer than that? He is all but shaking his head in a blowout, either a concussion or a disorder.

I liked Ingram before the recent FIBA play.
He really has regressed.
Besides who do we send out.. Pels don't need Randle.

We def gotta start with a trade for a legitimate 2nd/3rd option next to Jalen n Julius (OG isn’t the guy on offense). Whether that’s Mitchell, Mikal, PG or whoever, we need to get that player this summer before the cap works against us. That’ll protect us in cases like this where we’ve only got 1 20ppg player.

Then we gotta get deeper. Gotta make 1 full MLE signing, and also pick up a couple vets looking to ring chase that Thibs would play in cases like this too.

I hope they do everything possible to prevent this from ever happening again,

Both picks this year(24&25)Bojan and Mitch would be a good deal imo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Randle was a fluke, not sure regarding Mitch and OG as they seem to have a history of this sort of thing.

You truly think? They're not great. But they have enough scoring to win at MSG, they were close already and we are less healthy and just got our doors blown off

Hope you're right. They're not some great team by any stretch but can score, they're a B+ team, if A- is a distant contender
