Good breakdown of the wolves situation.

Damn I see you educating them about some of our players! I gotta hop in

lol there's only so much basketball one person can watch so we all have blindspots. As long as folks aren't aggro about disagreements, the trade board can be an insightful read.

Only team that SHOULD beat us is the Celtics. Everyone else I have at even odds or better.

This is the type of Knicks fan that gets you in trouble …

This team at 85% healthy (Randle with some limitations, but OG full go, Mitch at rehab strength) should be an even match for the likes of the Bucks or Sixers (with Embiid). I don't expect the Cavs, Heat, Magic, Pacers to have an edge on us.

I assume you are referring to a fully healthy knicks squad. In which case I agree. Actually I would go even a step farther and say a fully healthy knick squad would have even odds with the Celtics. This Knick team, if healthy throughout a season wins 60+ games and fights the Celtics for the top seed.

As long as KP is healthy, that Celtics team is a special king of monster.

While true, I'd love to see how we matched up with both teams at 100%. KP's shooting would be really important, but if KP was shooting RobinHart into ineffectiveness...Thibs would have that Anunoby - Randle - Achiuwa lineup as a counter. With Precious & Ju on the court we'd still dominate the glass, while with OG & Precious both there we'd have enough rim protection to make up for not having one of our centers with them.

Then the paint is wide open. The Celtics offense has a counter for pretty much everything. All their guys can shoot. The question becomes can we exploit the one average defender they have.

The paint wouldn't be wide open with OG & Precious around Ju unless the Celtics just shot too well for anyone to defend, but we'll see if they can do that in the playoffs. I won't be surprised if they get bounced by the Heat in round 1 if Miami falls to that spot.

What a painfully boring night in the NBA. Let's go NOP, I suppose. The Bucks have an easier schedule, but hey, who knows.

I like how the Knicks match up if healthy

I think the key is to somehow make KP ineffective. Thibs is going to have to take away something from Boston's attack.

Truth. Unless it's literally your job to consume the sport you're not gonna really know about every single player.

how cheap were the rumors? I always heard Atlanta was trying to gouge people to make up for how much they paid SAS.

Anyway, it was an ugly game that featured OT, the Hawks won, and the Celtics are no pushover, but hot damn Murray took 44 shots for 44 points. And some guy named Vit Krejci played 35 minutes, took 1 shot, had 3 rebounds, 1 assist and fouled out?

I was surprised by White’s D there — isn’t he good on that end lol? Looked like not very good

Multiple unprotected first round picks and additional swaps, plus a young player...probably Deuce or Grimes for a guy who has to shoot 44 times to score 44 points is not a deal I'd want to see the Knicks to have done.

Deuce(or Divo) > Murray.... considering cost, fit, skills and attitude...

I think the Bucks are vulnerable. They get wrecked by guards, they have Doc coaching, the team is old.

I feel the 7th and 8th seeds right now are serious issues too. Miami has Butler going super saiyan in the playoffs, and Joel Embiid is about to return for Philly.

I am not seeing the comparison of Tatum to generational guys … no doubt he’s good at all things but not off the charts

Consistent, smart, plays defense … talent is not at an insane level

That’s not hater talk and I think he’s excellent but if a guy lacks top top tier talent, you can beat him

It’s just that Boston has a really good starting 5
