Stop looking at it. Probably want to ignore this thread too. If they’re blue chip, they’ll recover and you’ll be fine. Sound investing is about patience and long-term thinking

have you seen Margin Call on Netflix? I know it's hollywood. but if the ending is really what happened to Lehman (they don't come out and say the movie is based on Lehman, but it's acknowledged that it is), then it's disgusting what happens at the end.

moaaar crypto.

i'm holding. markets always recover. been doing more saving through T-Bills, rather than aggressive investing, as to have extra buying power when we hit near the bottom.

vast majority of my monthly investment goes towards SCHD, as the dividend kings/aristocrats typically fair best during downturns, recessions, etc.

also selling covered calls to make up for hit we're taking. allows me to hold, and make side money

yea, the key thing about investing is not looking at short-term fluctuations in the grand scheme of things (you're really investing over a 20-30 year timeframe anyways)

It wasn't done in 2008, and it won't be done now.

These dipsh*ts push for financial deregulation, and then come looking for tax payer handouts once their gambling blows up in their faces....after they sell off their stocks and pay themselves their bonuses.

WSJ had an op Ed trying to blame the SVB collapse on… diversity on their board.

There is nothing these trash trunts won’t try to blame on the progress we’ve made in society.

Not enough for me. Also, Obama was too cozy with Wall Street. A lot of those bankers in '08 should've gone to jail and didn't. The DOJ should've investigated and convened a GJ. Instead, they got corporate communist bailouts.

Richard David Wolff is an American Marxian economist known for his work on economic methodology and class analysis. He is a professor emeritus of economics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a visiting professor in the graduate program in international affairs of the New School. Wolff has also taught economics at Yale University, City University of New York, University of Utah, University of Paris I (Sorbonne), and The Brecht Forum in New York City.

Wolff's a smart guy even if don't subscribe to Marxian economics. I wouldn't let that hang you up on what he has to say concerning the SVB collapse.

my second favorite carlin special of all time. he is my favorite all-time comedian.

it's amazing how he is able to take everyday things, and mock them at such a high level of intelligence, yet still make it funny for common people.
