That was completely unacceptable nearly blowing a 6 run lead against the mediocre Rays. Good thing the offense showed up.

We've been crapping on him this season, but gotta give credit to Torres for putting a stamp on the game when Ferguson and Burdi tried to give the game back.

A bit worrying from Hamilton as he never really rode the ultra bullpen wave and he gave up a homer in a no pressure 9th inning too.

Gil though with a third consecutive quality start even though he has to give credit to great defense today. Exit velo was high from the Rays.

Soto broke his short skid with a hit. Verdugo (day off) just needs to get back on track.

Damn, no game on tonight. Tomorrow starts a 3 game set with the Twins.

Not that I'm very confident in us winning 2 out of 3

It’s all about the Rangers tonight they gotta put the Canes away. Give the Knicks a bit of mojo tomorrow, NY fans really needs a Rangers win tonight.

Yankees are a bit on the back burner for me for now, following them casually but will get more into it by June.

I guess I'll watch the Rangers game. I haven't followed hockey much at all this season but I wanna see some sports

After watching Yamamoto fail to shutdown the Giants lineup I have to say that the Yankees are getting a better return on their investment with Luis Gil than the Dodgers are with the $325 million dollars they spent.

Good stuff from pitching tonight. Rodon had an early mistake and battled for his outs, but gave up only a run and 6 hits in 6 innings with no walks and 6 strikeouts. Retired 11 straight at one point. Another quality start from the rotation.

Hamilton got back on the horse. 2 innings, 22 pitches and 19 of those were strikes.

Holmes threw 6 pitches, 5 of those strikes for a clean 9th.

Hit parade, everyone in the lineup recorded at least one hit.

Baltimore game was postponed so Yankees are currently in first. Stroman on the mound tomorrow on Prime.

If Stanton doesn't land on the IL he will probably hit 30 plus homers this season, but I'd still trade him in a heartbeat if the Padres or Giants came to me with a proposal.

When he's been healthy, he mashes in the postseason.

Number of WS appearances with Stanton in the lineup = 0

Another series win. Probably should've scored more than 4 runs with 13 hits, but pitching tonight makes sure it doesn't matter. Quality Start from Stroman combined with Weaver and Ferguson to complete the shutout.

Judge went 4-4 with a walk, a homer, 2 RBI, and 2 runs tonight. He was on April 22nd batting .174 and has hit .347 with 8 homers since then getting his average to a climbing .255.

1:00 game tomorrow with Schmidt pitching for the sweep and to stay in first for both the division and the AL.

I don't get how fans place so much emphasis on the way players interact with the public on social media to the point that they don't want a particular player to be on their team. When the Yankees went out and signed Stroman I could care less about what he said or how he behaved on Twitter as I never felt the need of being interested in his personal life. All I cared about was whether he would help improve a depleted Yankee rotation at the time. Interesting how many people have changed their opinion on him now that he is contributing to the success of their team.

Yeah i dunno what the fuss was about. Stroman has been an absolute professional. They made it seemed like this dude was a criminal or something. Is it the tats and durag under the cap that set them off? Probably.

Either way, the train keeps on rolling.

When Judge got tossed from that one game it's like a fuse was lit. I'll take the angry ABs

I work remote today so I look forward to the 1pm start time. There's been too much sports on between MLB, NBA, and WNBA and i hate DVRing sports. Hopefully Schmidt will carry us to the sweep

I'm sure had he looked as clean cut and friendly face as Brett Gardner fans would have welcomed him with open arms.

Wait, what happened? What did Stroman do?

Yeah, we don't need to get into it deeply but there's a reason why my late Uncle, God rest his soul, did not like the Yankees or the fans (he was a Mets fan, and it was because of racial stuff back in the day that he hated the Yankees).

Me, I grew up in the hood so I love having dudes with an edge on this team that just show up, be themselves, and put in work. Verdugo, Stroman, Soto...all my kinds of people
