I am still analyzing offers on Butler. I am kind of busy. I have to do some math and study some players.

Look forward to seeing how both conference finals play out. I think they both could go 6 or 7

Good luck to those of us in the lottery this week. The Minnesota Timberwolves are excited to see where we land to add to our core. The #3 slot is where we are sitting and it has been pretty generous to us the last two years with Banchero and Brandon Miller. We look forward to a playoff push next year

I still can't believe we let MPH keep Curry and Jokic during the reset.

We gotta respect the greatness HS. I thought the chip was wide open this year until MPH pulled off the Claxton + Kessler acquisitions. That really narrowed things down and solidified what we’re seeing this year, I believe. No disrespect to you, Deeeez or Melo because I think y’all are worthy opponents and I’m not counting any of you out. But, those two trades helped SAS tremendously. Undefeated in playoffs and close enough to a three-peat has to be respected no matter how you slice it and no matter how much of a competitive nature we have. Credit to MPH.

Absolutely nothing but respect, he definitely earned it. My post is really a credit to him, because the Curry contract is a steal.. complete highway robbery. He was focused on his foundation and executed. Most GMs probably thought Curry was going to be too expensive, I know I did and didn't even offer a contract. Let's also talk about the trade for Joker to pair with Curry in the first place, he had a vision and became dominant. I don't think it's a better 2 man.

But I agree, the moves he made to put more defense around those 2 guys and add players that fit his offensive style was impressive. I know trading Porter Jr. and Bane wasn't easy, but it took his team to the next level.

Still listening to offers on Nikola Vucevic. Looking for a 2026 1st and either cap space or expiring contracts to match most or all of the salary.

Now open to at least thinking about offers on Damian Lillard but am not 100% on dealing him so looking for real offers. This isn't a fire sale. Would need a starting point guard on a rookie deal as the start of the package and no long term money that isn't part of a rookie contract so really narrows down any potential offers so it is likely he stays in Orlando.

Kevon Looney is available for 2 non-2024 2nd round picks if anyone is looking for a bargain $1 defensive big.

Might be willing to part with Wendell Carter Jr and Jerami Grant but both are still in my long-term plans so I would need a tempting offer to move either of them.

I literally walked around in a stupor for like two days. Over a game. Like, in the history of the NBA maybe Magic and Kareem were a better pairing? Jordan and Scottie? Like, that's the level we're talking about.

I'd have Jokic+Curry over either of those two pairs in terms of playing off eachother at the absolute highest level. And I don't think anything else in history compares.

And FWIW I think you'd have difficulty creating a more optimal pairing than Jokic+Curry. Pick any two players in NBA history. You could make more talented duos but you'd be hard pressed to find a more optimal pairing. Any of the other best bigs of all time are pretty much out, as are the super high usage guards. There is a case to be made for LeBron+someone, but LeBron might be the only other guy in the top 20ish you could use to make an optimal pairing, if that makes sense.

As far as individual talent goes they're ahead of Jordan+Scottie (Scottie is the clear odd man out of the 6) but behind Magic+Kareem, although I'd have them much closer to the latter than the former.

To be in the conversation for talented duos all-time, I think both guys have to be MVPs/playing at a truly MVP level when they're together, and both guys have to be firm top 20ish all-time.

It's funny you should mention LeBron because when the trade happened I had PG/SGA/Gobert and ended up trading PG for LeBron just on the whim that I might find something. I didn't find something. Before that I felt I had found a pretty optimal trio that stood a good chance with any of the other major players but once that happened... just very obviously not as good.
