Haven't done Match in a decade, but must have gotten lucky - 2 for 2 good people and cute as photos. Think if they flirt good/witty that seals it.

I had some success with it too. Coupled up for 2 years with a gal from Staten Island. Sweet, smart, pretty. Was a hike from Philly but she was worth it. Then when I moved to NC I didn't know anyone and landed another fish, my time with her lasted about a year. Longevity ain't my strong suit, but that's on me

Just keep expectations low, and of course be careful. But it can work. I had fun with it

Also, I would highly recommend to anyone that if you really hit it off with someone, take your profile down right away. It sends the wrong message if they see you online on the site after you have something going with them. I made that mistake after my first date in NC and let a good one get away and really regretted it. Idiot. You can always make a new profile if it ends up going south.
