X-Men 97 is absolutely killing it! End of episode 8 was such a great payoff! Not just a worthwhile successor to the show we grew up on, but I REALLY hope they expand this series and give us more shows in this version of the Marvel universe (like Spider-man and Captain America who both had cameos).

I posted this over on the media forum but the fact that they adapted the "Fatal Attractions" story from the early 90s makes this, for me, Marvel Studios' best work since Phase 3.

I’m ready to start my binge! Anything I should know before I begin?

You may want to peep a recap of X-Men TAS because this really continues right where it left off. But other than that, just enjoy the ride!

Try to find a recap of the original series and then enjoy because this is the best X-Men series ever made, film, animation, or otherwise.

Delicious in Dungeon episode 15 is hilarious. Yall should definitely watch the whole episode first, but if you don't, this gag right here bodied me:

Batman Caped Crusader coming out on Amazon in August. Amazon feels like it’s on a roll.

Someone get me my Batman beyond. Oh and Static Shock.

I love that they're basing it around Golden Age Batman from the 1940s. Harley Quinn, Catwoman, and Clayface look really cool.

Chainsaw Man Chapter 165

Spoiler:
Asa really does care about Denji. Can we end this with them living happily ever after with Nayuta, the dogs and Meowy?

No? Yeah, I know better. This is gonna be a disaster.

Katana Man continues to be an ass hole and I love every minute of it. Dude is awful and it's funny as hell

No doubt about it!

First character that I thought of. How messed up would that be if she's working at a brothel? This series is already dark enough  :-?

Today's chapter of DanDaDan broke me yall. WTF

Zuma's backstory is one of the most foulest things I've seen in a Shonen series.

I'm not really comparing tragic backstories, but I still think Kuma's takes the cake

Zuma's up there though, just in one chapter that was brutal. I thought it was gonna be like a Shazam thing where he's imagining his mom as being happy when she isn't, but it was so much worse.

Chainsaw Man Chapter 166

It was so bad that even Fami had to turn away from him. I felt second hand embarrassment

Spoiler:
Denji got that post-nut clarity without even getting off

If this ends with Asa accidentally giving Denji a handjob it will be the funniest thing

I feel like part 2 is doing an excellent job of balancing being both darkly humorous and just straight up depressing.

It really is. This is some seriously dark stuff and yet it's hard to take it seriously because of how crazy everyone is. that final page was the Chainsaw Man experience in a nutshell. WTF

Fujimoto's paneling is something else. He's done the close up on talking characters into a pan out to everyone else sitting there awkwardly three times already...and it bodied me every time.

Denji really learning life's lessons.
Spoiler:
Funny thing about the last panel, is I immediately wondered if this is when Asa will find out that she can grow her arm back.
