I love Kenny Vaughan. Marty Stuart and him on stage slinging guitars.

Didn't Sinead tear a photo of the Pope on SNL over Catholic Church's sex abuse scandals? Actually, they may not have even been publicized at the time. She caught a lot of grief for that even though she was right.
It's a shame that she didn't get the MH treatment she needed. She lived a tough life. RIP.
She was bipolar and then the pope rip was probably a trigger in her life one way or another

Yeah, she did. SNL censored it and doctored the video the next time the episode aired. They superimposed the picture of an African child. Very cheap thing to do.
It was a very punk thing to do. She truly DGAF.
Go read her obituaries. It's all in there.
She was so great at such a young age. I dearly loved those first two records.
She was gangster

I've never really heard her music before though sadly. What tracks are good to dive into?

Ha ha ha, perfect. Morgan is a putz. Like I said earlier, she had the real punk spirit even if her music was not a punk sound
Start with her 2nd album I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got
It has her big hit which is sublime and is the last track
Other incredible songs are Last Day of Our Acquaintance, I Am Stretched On Your Grave, You Cause As Much Sorrow, but TBH I love the whole album. It's all really fine
Here's the full tracklist link:

After that, take some time with her first album The Lion and The Cobra. Her 2nd album is so great, it eclipses this one, but taken on its own it is wonderful. She was fully Sinead on her first outing. It's awesome

I like this new artist, Violent Vira. She's got potential, her new EP is a lot more polished than her previous indie work. She reminds me of Lacey, the former lead singer of Flyleaf.

The Band put the load right on me!
I got to see them at The Tower Theater in Upper Darby, PA minutes outside of Center City, Philadelphia during their first reunion after The Last Waltz. The Tower a grand old rock theater that sits around 5,500 people. Great acoustics. The used the Cate brothers on lead and rhythm guitars and they were excellent. They all seemed very happy and energetic during the show.

Loved that place! I saw Simple Minds from the 2nd row, right next to the center aisle, circa 1991. Shook Jim Kerr's (lead singer) hand because he basically shook everyone's hand who reached out to him so I took my turn. They had a warmup band by the name of Material Issue and the lead singer kept making googly eyes at my girlfriend. I was both honored and annoyed. Awesome show
Also saw The Spin Doctors there. Their songs have a way of all sounding the same. My buddy and I walked out of there and he said "I really liked their song." (singular) lol

Funny story. Yeah, the Tower is incredible. I’d love to go back and see a show there but all my favorite artists are either dead or falling down a lot.

New track from Chino Moreno's other band w/ Shaun Lopez, Crosses.
The production on this one is sick. I would love to just sit and watch their writing sessions.
