He's saying he won't come over unless he's gonna get minutes

Like, he doesn't want to move to a new country to be in the Miles McBride role, he doesn't want to play in the G League, he'd rather get consistent minutes in Europe which is understandable.
BaF Lakers:

Darius Garland/Cory Joseph
Klay Thompson/Shaedon Sharpe
Keldon Johnson/De'Andre Hunter
Evan Mobley/Tari Eason
Nic Claxton/Draymond Green

Bench: Leonard Miller, Jett Howard, Markquis Nowell, Kennedy Chandler, Day'Ron Sharpe

Makes sense to me. I don't see him coming over as long as Thibs is the HC, and Thibs won't get extended for anything less than NBA Finals appearance or an actual championship. Next season is Thibs' last 'guaranteed' season of his contract.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with how Rokas wants to control HIS own career...none. However, if this is the case then NYK needs to proceed to move forward as if he isn't part of the team. Can't guarantee him minutes if we got lucky and found a PG next summer (flavor of the month in Brunson) AND as McBride gets a chance and produces. At that point, Rokas becomes a very attractive trade piece more-so than a 3rd stringer. UNLESS you think Rokas will be better player than McBride IN THE NBA...in which we deal McBride. :o

Now that I'm thinking about it, Rokas may serve us best in a trade. I believe a team that values Euro prospects like Dallas or SAS wouldn't mind acquiring him. Watch that S&T with Dallas to get Brunson in a Knick jersey include Rokas. :)

Well, that settles it, he isn’t ever going to come here. Maybe when he’s 28 like Kuzminskas. That was the last and final hope for the Knicks. It’s over.

If Thibodeau is back next year then the season will be unwatchable.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

He wants to come here, he’s not going to miss out on NBA pay. He just wants minutes. It’s actually perfect he does not come over because we don’t have space for him.

He will be a good depth piece once we trade a lot of the roster for a star player.

We want you Rokas

You’ll own the city if you can come here and take that starting PG position

He's basically saying he's not coming until Thibodeau is no longer the head coach.

Rokas just became the third youngest player in the Euroleague's history to accumulate 500 PIR points. The only younger ones were Luka Doncic and Ricky Rubio.

PIR = (Points + Rebounds + Assists + Steals + Blocks + Fouls Drawn) - (Missed Field Goals + Missed Free Throws + Turnovers + Shots Rejected + Fouls Committed)

Nice creativity! Shot looks decent too. Hope he eventually comes over.

Wow. Now why can't we have a PG like that!
