It doesn't get anymore apathetic than this, didn't feel a thing watching it. From a team perspective, this game meant absolutely nothing with such an ungodly amount of key players missing. I thought we battled admirably in fact, most of the way.

We should all be reassured that he proves he can do this 100 times/night. Not to evade a defender, just to be "fancy"

Maybe Randle should just go on and get that shoulder surgery and we can pivot to a tank and try to secure a lottery pick

As a Knicks fan who is used to losing all the time, I treated the month of January like Warriors and Heat fans treat the month of June. Blowing out teams like the Nuggets and Sixers during the regular season was the closest thing to winning a championship for us in the past 20 years.

The joy that I felt before Randle and OG went down was comparable to watching us beat the Celtics in the Eastern Conference finals. Even if we fall off a cliff in the standings, you can place this season next to 1970,1973 and 1994.

We do not have second-tier space to sign OG, IHart, Precious, Bojan, and lottery pick.

The FO is going to have to give serious thought about carrying TWO INJURY PRONE CENTERS. They are really not protection for each other as we've seen this year. Might have to say goodbye to Mitch and draft a decent reliable rookie center. Turn Mitch into another FRP to use sometime on a good rookie backup to JB.

I went to the local bar to watch the game. Turns out there was hookers and blow. What did I miss?

Guess they got it all out of their system last night

And yet Detroit still won the trade.
And we all see it now.
That hurts.

Alec and Bogs put on a clinic, or belong in one, I forget.

We will be the first team in NBA history to lose our starting lineup to Thibs, I mean injury.

Solution was to trade for old players (who CAN’T play defense.)

This is pretty much it.

As a Knicks fan I just enjoy the small moments of joy. Though that voice tells me it's temporary and the bad times are right around the corner which takes some of the joy away but also keeps me prepared for the inevitable.

Injuries happen. The Randle injury was a freak thing. But everyone (including the coach) knew that Hartenstein had the Achilles problem. And management knew that OG tended to miss a lot of games. How do you pay him crazy money coming off this injury? Now that Precious is routinely playing 40+ minutes a night, when does he go down? And why is the end of our bench so completely useless?

What a strange season this has been.

This game was load management for IHart and Brunson on a back to back. They’re no longer allowed to say it though. They’ll both play Thursday.

I hope you are right. Last night's roster was scary.
