Game ball to Deuce. His defense kept the game close. On many plays his closeouts prevented easy buckets and allowed for a help defender to follow and pressure a Heat player. His scoring was excellent, but he is a really active guy on defense and I love that about him.

Just an interesting perspective

RJ and IQ haven't been iron men in Toronto and I doubt they'd have the dominant stretch they had even if they were. Not a good long run trade but for the current time, it served it's purpose. If we're blaming anybody for this stretch, it's thibs who's coaching style is good for the season but wears down players over their careers which is what's happening to Randle.

3 winnable games we lost. We could have been tied for the 2nd seed now...

If this team was from the start of the season and full healthy we would be top seed probably but at least 2nd...

Injuries, officials (8-9 losses in total) and some dumb Thibs decisions...

I really don’t think it’s Randle that’s holding back. It’s the team holding him back.

I’m okay with that too. If Randle gets hurt again and effs up again in the playoffs, he’s pretty much done here imo. He already has a rep around the league. This is his chance to perform when it matters. Do well and he shows the team he can be counted on. Screw up again…

Proud of this team, high character guys that care!

Wish we could have won these last 3 games tho, all winnable (Wemby had best game of his life, lost on last sec struggling SGA shot, and JB had an off game today) we would have tied the Bucks at 47-28, who continued to play .500 ball (lost to Wizards today lol)... dang dang lost opportunities!
