"Talk about him liking young girls that's a gift from me"

At least he's self aware enough to know that he's a pedophile.

His day will come.

It was a nice track. Thought the opening was not the way he or anyone should go in a diss track for that matter. Basically a lullaby for 45 seconds into a diss track is so on brand for Kendrick

He regurgitated a lot of low hanging fruit, albeit creatively, so I'll give him some props for how he approached it and found original ways to say the same ole chit everyone says about Drake...

Tactically, I thought this wasn't the time for a warning shot which is what this was albeit a long winded one. If he had more info, then he should have used it IMO. You've now given Drake either full license to either let this breathe and let stans battle it out on the internet over this or drop the "red button' he's been threatening to.

Either way it's been a fun back and forth wherever your fandom or rooting interest lies. I have Drake up slightly but obviously biased and I'm sure I'll have grown men in my mentions being triggered by this

Everyone is raving about those bars, but to me the line about Drake's son was brutal.

This was the biggest disappointment of this whole thing to me. Some people will clown Drake for this. Some people will clown Kendrick for this. At least they both are going to get in the ring and spar with conviction at this point. One thing everyone should be able to agree on is that J Cole made the most sucker move possible.

You make a mid diss track with no passion that you clearly didn't believe in but felt obligated to do.... You then apologize and propose an olive branch, to then making a track with the guys who actively put the diss track at least subtly aimed at you the following week. Then the guy you apologized to still spits in your face on his next record... and you now have to sit around and do nothing because you felt bad initially and nobody is going to believe a word you say if you do feel the need to jump back in.

He got some lines but its kinda moist. Kendrick is full Duncan Hines at this point. All the edge is gone

yeah after listening to it for the 10th time, he had some punchlines but the actual rap rap kinda lackluster.

kendrick leading rn but not by much. i expected more

It’s the beat and the singing intro that sours it for me.

Dudes don’t know how to diss over hard beats anymore.

If we being honest Rick Ross got the best Diss out of all of them.

That was a diss track in the spirit of ether.

Even the opening jibberish turns out to be from the Wiz when played backwards.

I like how Kendrick didn't rush to respond and took his time to make an actual track instead of rushing to lay down 16 on a beat he had lying around.

The internet sleuths have found a lot of the little layers Kendrick added, down to the point Drake said that he wasn't Kobe, and Kendrick dropped the song at 8:24 AM
