Right, sure they could coexist, but its far from an ideal pairing. I say this as I watch the huge wings on the celts shoot easy shots right over the heads of the tiny cavs back court. Then you have the whole "who is the alpha?" question.

On the Cavs Garland clearly defers to Mitchell. What happens on the Knicks? Is Mitchell going to defer to Brunson? Or are they going to compete for shots? Even if they try to coexist. .. IMO it dilutes both players games.

Then you have my biggest issue ... price....Mitchell is going to cost Randle. So now you create a hole up front to beef up your back court scoring . Bad for several reasons.

For one as I watch these playoffs, I can see how Randle would be a problem for all of these soft azz teams. Why would we want to do away with that advantage? The other issue is if you want to do that (and I dont!) , I would rather do it for Booker.

Mikal Bridges is the ideal fit. Cheaper, 2 way-with near elite defense , great off the ball, tall, Nova chemistry....
