Look at how close Mobley is on Horford. Leaves the paint wide open for Brown and Tatum.
And Boston has 3 centers that can shoot.

Re: Around the NBA - Continuation... AND one!
With a few minutes in the game I see the Cavs dribbling the ball around the perimeter and Mitchell just meandering on the elbow doing nothing, no movement, no screens, no cuts. Pretty stale looking offense
Unless Mitchell is hurt, what excuse does he have for doing nothing? I thought he was a star and an alpha

his teammates are meh and play no defense. The celtics move the ball and made a ton of open 3's..
Donovon kept them in the game but eventually the celtics starting driving on them and scoring-
they were playing enough defense and getting offensive rebounds...the cavs are terrible CS..
and Donovon CAN'T play defense...Hopefully we dont trade for him and give up assets...

If their opponent cant play elite defense it will be hard for them to win 4 out of 7...
Minny will shut Boston down because they love the three ball and they dont have the killer instinct...

Mitchell’s defense is bad and his late game shots were not good but … his teammates didn’t help much

He looks better as a lead guard when Dmitch is out. They need to sort out that roster and get a real 2 imo.

we need to add a younger version of a drue holiday...Brunson is decent on D but we cant afford to pair Brunson with a guy like Donovon whos bad a D...yes he can score...that alone wont help us beat the elite teams for a chip...

Garland was pounding the ball and running off valuable clock time when they were down by 11 points. Not running any plays at all with Mitchell just standing there watching. Garland was being a lousy PG, but if that is what's happening then Mitchell kind of has to demand the ball and make something happen. And he didn't. He looked like he didn't even care
If that is how DM behaves during the playoffs and his defense is suspect then why would he be better than Donte?

If we did get a SG that was a superb 3 & D guy to play off Brunson, then Divo would make the ultimate 6th man. Otherwise, Donte has proven to be a worthy starter as it is. Mitchell is not a superior player.

Mobley shows some promise but there isn’t one Cav besides DM that should even be considered at a moderately high dollar amount or more

Just like us. Mitchell is not the guy.
