I don't think the team can afford to dedicate like 40m to the center position so if Brother Hartenstein is the guy to go with, Mitch will have to be moved along with Bojan to optimize their salary slots.

The team needs another ball handler off of the bench, and a cheap back up C option to replace Mitch.

MItch is making 15 a year...That seems like a bargin to me DollarBills?

We need an upgrade to 25 and 10 all NBA? Get Mikal Bridges to upgrade the 2 and the bench while keeping Randle...that is the answer.

Well, that certainly isn’t a bad answer at all either.

forget about my thoughts on Bridges or his fit...Brooklyn will not help the Knicks. I think we're wasting our time discussing the possibility :D

it’s a lot for an unreliable player whose physical conditioning and number of games played and shooting percentages are all on the decline yearly

It seems to me everybody is getting injured regularly...The league was never like this...Let me look at Mitch's attendance numbers...
and while I do that - you realize centers go through this- does a reliable center as talented as Mitch defensively exist at a price that makes sense Rob?

there is such a divide on Randle...I havent seen enough of him to have an opinion...All I know is -I dont like the negative things that
I'm hearing about Randle. However, Mel and another poster said he was injured last year during the play offs so that gives me hesitation about canceling him...At the same time- I don't want anything to disrupt what the chosen one is doing. Even Charles Oak
said that Brunson is a better leader than Ewing. I was a kid so I could see those degrees in Pat's play- when I look back today- I can see what Oak means. That being said -we can not take the importance of not disrupting Brunson for granted.

Why not?... were you up in orbit the last 4 years? :D

Teams like Pelicans or Wizards may want Mitch Robinson and they could send us back a young 3&D guy who may help us more than an oft-injured Robinson

Brooklyn is already a PR nightmare...they suck royally. At least we aint suing them. We can give them what they lost draft picks, we can give them a fat expring contract, maybe we can even give them Deuce :o . No team wants a player that doesn't want to be there. Do I sound desperate?

What is the consensus on what Hartenstein will command? 20 per?

I'm just thinking if it's prudent to have that much tied into center. Otherwise I wouldn't want Mitch to go anywhere

I feel like he cant command that and I also feel like he has to believe in this team as we have to believe that he will continue to work on his craft and get better...
thoughts on what i just said? :D

I have no idea about this draft class but I'm pulling for Washington to improve quick enough that we get their pick soon.

I'll never forget how fast Landry lost his game after we traded for Melo.

Return to New York Knicks
