Kings 2nd lowest points scored this season, it means a lot to our defensive intensity. They averages 118 pts.
Are you fans of the team or the player?

OG not the kind of guy who lets a bad shooting game affect his defense at all
That’s rarer and bigger than it sounds

he needs to come back and keep up this teams defensive mentality though...no weak links...we need his secondary scoring next to brunson but also taking Hart out of the lineup will hurt our defense and intensity if Randle doesn't bring it consistently.

Huge win considering the next 2 opponents.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Not trying to pee on the parade but that’s reality
it wont matter... last season Hart was closing most of the games... it might even help having Robinson to start the halves with his rim running while Hart would do damage with their bench in the 2nd and than in the 4th when their starters wont have fresh legs... trust the process

Lotta confidence in Deuce there and Deuce held the line. Bargain!
duece defense will always get him minutes...burks was better tonight so that makes sense thibs played him with Brunson more.
Duece has to be confident all the time...too much dribble around going nowhere tonight...he has skills this was the first game maybe all year Duece wasn't aggressive.

Brunson
Deuce
OG
Josh or Achi
Hart or Mitch
nasty
I’d go Bojan till Randle comes back
That was for defensive lineups in spurts to frustrate and get out of their rhythm... then after 4-5 min you put Bojan and Donte to demotivate them completly

He was buying in before he went down. OG narrows his focus to man defense. I have confidence.

Re: PG: iHart in Monster Mode as Knicks Clinch Playoff Intensity Road Game
this is what I mean when I say
a highlight reel has fooled a generation of fans into thinking mitch is an elite defender.
ive made a zillion posts about this over the last 1.5+ years.
the highlights don't match the stats. when you sort rim protection, pnr, iso, etc for mitch vs ihart over the last 2 seasons, mitch is basically somewhere between average to slightly above average in all the advanced stats.
while those same stats show us ihart is well above average
and then theres the eye test like tonight.
iharts defense was game-changing. then you add in everything else he can do and its such a no-brainer when you look at things objectively.

Re: PG: iHart in Monster Mode as Knicks Clinch Playoff Intensity Road Game
Only thing I didn't like was something that's been going on for a while now. Brunson complains so much and he needs to tone it down. Maybe he learned that from Luka.
I can understand complaining when we're getting ticky tack calls against us and they're mauling us for free but refs have been letting us be physical with opponents and our defense is suffocating. We benefit a lot more from more relaxed officiating than the other team due our nature as a bully ball thibs squad.
But yea once I saw iHart son Sabonis into a turnover on the second play of the game I knew it was gonna be a long night for them. If playoffs are like this we can beat anyone

Ok. Fine. Who cares? Thibs requires at least 3 playable centers because there’s a 99% chance that one of them will be injured at all times in his system.
So all this iHart vs Mitch nonsense is useless in reality. We need both.
