They're closing hard and are now gunning for the sixth seed.

Indy could fall into the play-in if they don't finish strong.

With Embiid, otoh, my desires for players health are genuinely unbesmirched.

Philly and then Miami are the two best potential 1st round opponents.... hoping we can face the Cavs, Magic, or Indy instead... for a warm-up... Bucks may tank for the 3rd or 4th seed... if we get the 2nd then we get the 7th seed which is currently the Sixers...

Playoff Preview for sure:

Hartenstein
OG
Hart
DDV
Brunson

Mitch (20 min)
Deuce (20 min)
Bogey (8 min)

IDK how far this can take us, but as long as we are healthy with gas left in the tank, this short rotation will beat or take anyone in the NBA besides Denver or Boston to 7.

I was kinda thinking the same thing.

We don't need a "star" just to bring a name here. We need a good fit. The known "stars" are either all set with their teams or aging out of the NBA. Giannis, Embiid, Booker, Mitchell, and KAT are likely the only possible gets this off-season who are legit names. Out of that list, only Booker or maybe Giannis (or KAT?) seems like a fit -- if they're even available.

Would any of those names be able to take us over the top? Or, is surrounding Brunson with other great players (who may not be "names") the better plan?

THAT'S the question.

I'd like to build a team like the 2004 or even better yet the 88/89 Pistons. Dynamic relentless PG leader surrounded by loads of talent - but not necessarily 1a's, but elite roleplayers, money shot makers, Bully Bigs and defensive beasts. Actually we are pretty much already there....Mikal Bridges would complete the puzzle.

All of the starters balled out. Im sure we’ll miss Julius at times, but I love the speed, ball movement, defense, and spacing of Jalen, Donte, Josh, OG, and Isaiah.

Torrey Craig is a clown.

Am I alone in thinking Gus Johnson sucks now though? He says so many cringe things, barely knows the players, and just doesnt have good chemistry with Clyde. I used to enjoy his schtick 20 years ago, but he’s been away from the NBA game too long it seems.

Bulls got extremely lucky they caught us on a back to back last time. Not sure what the league was thinking with that one.

Just saw highlight package. Anyone know why OG's wearing one long sock one short?

That’s what he played tonight. Clearly Thibs is treating these last 4 games as a playoff preview. 7 guys plus a 8th guy for <10 mins.

Nothing like the first two rounds of the NBA Playoffs to play yourself into losing 10 lbs. Frustrating that Mitch’s nutrition fell off. I get it that young guys just eat anything, but not when you can’t run for months. He should be lighter.

If we draw Embiid, Mitch plays a lot. If it’s Bam, I’d honestly rather see Precious. Fat Mitch is lowkey a liability. Turns out running and jumping are kind of important. Who knew?
