what's with everyone's idea thinking chandler is a small foward??

he's a power foward and should be the starting power foward.

Chandler has the offensive skills and also speed to play SF. He can also play PF, but has the ability to dominate at the SF position with the combination of his size, quickness and athleticism.

Best deal would be:

Wright/Harrington to NY

Lee/Curry to Charlotte

Wallace to Golden State

That's the deal I am hoping to see from Walsh, if a deal happens for Harrington

Jefferies
Zach
Harrington
Duhon
Crawford

Wright
Q-Rich
Nate
Chandler

Alright, I'll give you Bosh and maaaybe Amare. However, Amare has had multiple defensive lapses over the years and by the Suns fans' own admission, he's not that good defensively. Other than that, I don't consider any of the other players on your list as two way players. Most of them have been products of a successfully balanced team that made up for some of their flaws.

Al Jefferson has been on losing teams just like Zach Randolph. Sure he is athletic, but if Jefferson was on the Knicks, you would probably complain about his defense. The same goes for David West.

I know multiple people here don't think Boozer is much of a defender, someone here has to vouch for me on that.

Camby and Okafor can score a bit, but they can't score in bunches consistently. If you're going to say "two-way" players, then they better be players that can score as good as they defend.

Jermaine can't score like he used to and I doubt Rasheed can carry a team offensively night in and night out these days.

I'll have to see how Horford develops. I don't know if he's a guy you can rely on heavily offensively just yet.

Lewis is a SF who is forced to play PF. Do you really want to say that he's so great at defending the PF position in this league? What Lewis has is the luxury of playing next to Dwight Howard.

i find it funny how people want a lotto pick or a young player with tons of upside in return for a bust and a bench player.

isn't getting a contract that expires before 2010 and getting rid of a contract that passes 2010 enough??

I agree 100%. The more money the Knicks free up in 2010, the better chances we get at signing 2 stars.

lol Lee becomes a bench player, while their players have tons of upside. No. It's not enough.

Anthony Randolph, Brandan Wright, Marco Belinelli, Al Harrington

for

Lee
Curry
some other scrubs/filler.

I''d do this in a heart beat if I was a knicks fan.

Of course we'd do that deal!
But I doubt we can land Wright or A.Randolph, let alone both of them.

I think deep down, most of us felt that we would have to use Isiah's good moves(lee) to get rid of some of his bad moves(curry).. That is very sad, just sad....

from the GS board:

CJ's headed to Charlotte with Al....Felton and Ammo headed here...That's why Marcus is activated...

That actually seems like a more reasonable deal for those teams.

Whats on Larry Browns mind?

Harrington at PF I guess.

Honestly if you look at Harrington as a PF, he is almost the Eddy Curry of PF's. He doesn't rebound or defend and instead of being a post up scorer, he scores on the perimeter. He would have more value than Curry, simply because his contract is one year shorter. But he doesn't have enough value where we should be giving up David Lee, unless we are getting Anthony Randolph back.
