Off season plan:

1. Trade Mitchell Robinson, Bogey, McBride and 3 FRPs for Donovan Mitchell and Okoro

2. Re-sign Isaiah Hartenstein

3. Keep Randle

Hartenstein (28), Precious (20)
Randle (32) , OG (16)
OG (14), Hart(20), DDV (8), Okoro (5)
Spidah (20), Hart (10), DDV(16), Okoro (2)
Brunson (34), Spidah (14)

Minutes distribution is excellent. Your top 5 Randle, Brunson, Spidah, Hart and OG all get 30+ minutes. There is ample defenders at every position 1 to 5. There is rebounding, more of a consistent 3 ball. Okoro and DDV play more when injuries come. It's an extremely dynamic, deep, and well constructed Tom Thibodeau team.
there is some truth to this for sure

Hartenstien and Randle can play well together
Brunson and Mitchel should be able to play well on offense. the issue will be defensive of course.
But I believe Mitchel has the IQ and work ethic to play for Thibs

Id be very sad to see McBride go but you gotta give to get

They need to rebuild. Mobely is more a PF, and maybe/hopefully they view Mitch as a notch above Allen. Can Mobely and Mitch play together? That's the question.

Nets roster is dog crap and worse than the current Cavs. If Mitch values winning he wouldn't go there.

To me he is the third best player in the NBA - Luka and Embiid are comfortably ahead of him.

Nets are in a better position than the Cavs for next offseasaon. They'll have cap flexibility and LA Clipper appeal.

But he doesn't have to sign anywhere... he can still become a free agent regardless of where he gets traded to

Mikal Bridges... we sent extra 4 picks to make the trade even more realistic

Bogdanovic and 4 picks to the Cavs for Mikal
Nets send also another player and 2 picks to the Cavs

Randle and Mitch plus picks for Davis

Davis / Hartenstein / Sims
Anunoby / Achiuwa / veteran
Bridges / Josh Hart / draft
Di Vincenzo / McBride / Burks
Brunson / Smith Jr / Rokas

Yeah but I think Donovan wants a major market. He’s been in Utah and Cleveland his whole career. Going to Brooklyn, Miami, or a LA team seems like the most likely move.

Understand this. Teams know unless he has a big change of heart he is only interested in going to play in NY. Perhaps Brooklyn could convince him to stay but he has only 1 more year until FA then can choose where he wants to go.

Major market but I also think he wants to win.... I can see Miami and maybe LA because of Davis but just can't see him signing long term with Brooklyn. Just my opinion but don't see him 'settling' when he can play out his last year and go wherever he wants

Why exactly would we be out of the running here? I mentioned it before, but Windy makes no sense at all lol. He’s implying that we’re so focused on the ECF that we won’t make an offer on Mitchell. Like wtf sense does this make lol.

He can’t even be traded yet. Cavs are still in the playoffs and aren’t going to rush into a deal which can’t even be made yet. It’s wild to exclude us so damn early. He wanted to come here 2 summers ago, and nothings changed since.

Only Philly,Utah, and Detroit have cap space when he becomes a FA. Philly is going to use up all their cap space this off-season and I doubt he’ll sign with Detroit or Utah. The threat of walking in FA only works if there’s a team he would be interested in with cap space that could outright sign him. Right now that team doesn’t exist. He will traded to the highest bidder.

Looks pretty good from our side meaning probably Cleve says NO.

One question I have is with Okoro. When he came into the league he was touted as not much/raw offense but elite D. Haven't watched him. Is he elite or close to elite D. On the OG scale, if OG is a 10 and Jose Olay was a zero, where does Okoro rank now???

D-Mitch is no slouch on D and I think he would would take to Thibs system and thrive in it.
