Yep Randle's time on the Knicks is coming to an end within the next year/year and a half. You can just sense it. They're just waiting for a team dumb enough to want Randle.

TBH, I think the Knicks managing their cap will be very much in their favor soon. With all of these teams giving out fugazi deals over $30M to role players the adjusted salaries in the league may start to make Randle's remaining contract seem reasonable for another club. He's already probably better than some of the players now getting paid more than him (at least in the regular season  ).

PG seems more random stuff. But whatever. I’m fine with losing RJ.

finish the deal Leon, let's sign Ryan, Frank, T-Watford, and Eric Paschall.

Paul George is the exact archetype we need. Big 2-way play making wing.

Paul George, the actual old injured guy, is a risk.

I can see Donte having a breakout season this year just like JB did and Hart did in the 2nd half. Now we need to focus on some big men changes. Still more to come....guaranteed. Shi's Chess not checkers ladies and gentlemen!

I see you flex Villanova colors.

Amazing that Brunson coming off playing with Luka and now Donte playing with Curry. Hopefully Donte has that next level after playing with a top all-time, like Brunson did last year.

That's partially why it's meh. We do not need Divincenzo and he is not adding anything we don't currently have with better players.

They still gotta trade Fournier so let's see what we get in that deal but as it stands right now, I think we got worse swapping Obi for DV and some East teams got deeper and a little better.

They're likely gonna have to cut fournier, theres no deal to be had with him.

He's in the last year of his guaranteed contract. Next year is a club option

Isn't it possible a club may want to take on an expiring contract?

I love DiVicenzo, he's like maybe my fave role player in the L now

I really think Donte addition has made RJ more expendable than ever. Josh and Donte's D >> RJ's D... their shooting >> RJ's meh shooting %... RJ's 20ppg on meh shooting % is easily replaceable by combination of role players and Brunson upping his scoring.

that would mean us taking on a worse contract, which would be a worse option than keeping/cutting him

Not necessarily. It could mean taking on a bigger and longer contract of a player we actually want to play. That could be a player who wants to leave the club they're on or their team wants to cut down their cap space by moving them.

If they don't cut him, then it stands to reason they'd at least wait to see if his expiring can be used in a trade.
