Sucks but…gotta trade him. Best ability is availability.

We should tank. Rest Brunson. Rest OG. Rest BlackHart. Rest Josh. Let Precious, Sims, Deuce, Bogan, and Burks play 48 minutes each.

Time for Thibs to act like he care about Precious and Bojan now lol, Josh Hart playing 48 mins a game. I’m good…

Then I’m up here defending Knicks while everyone say. “Something always go wrong”
“It’s the Knicks”

Welp, they were right. Can’t trust Thibs and now we got major injuries to key players.

You're an idiot.

4:30 left in the game. Were they likely to hold that lead? Yes... but as long as Miami had their starters in you can't pull your guys in that scenario.

Thibs definitely leaves guys in too long for my liking sometimes but, this wasn't one of those times.

That’s a 17 point lead with 4.5 minutes to go …
I would still not be playing these guys all those minutes. Either way, Thibs is not the guy for the job. And even when they all come back healthy next season, someone else will get injured

some of this has to be on ju too, why are you leaving you jumping into contact in a game you have all but wrapped up

I wonder if he's gone this off season and he never gets to enjoy the turnaround he started

Is Thibs to blame for this specific injury? Probably not.

But it's not a coincidence that nearly the entire lineup is hurt.

Exactly this
You can’t burn the whole lineup out so early in the season
If they’re playing heavy minutes ,35-40 in January when you have a bench, then we can never win under him

It’s a marathon. 82 games. The focus is the playoffs. Not the regular season. Get in. Be healthy. Win when it counts. Ramp up the last 20 games of the season

It's been statistically proven countless times Thibs was not playing any player outside the normal league average. Before these injuries, there wasn't even a Knick player in the top 20 MPG. Minutes increase when injuries happen, ala Josh and Deuce.

It sucks, but blaming Thibs on **** luck is ridiculous.

This had become fairly predictable.

Credit to him for trying to come back, but he never seemed close to returning. It's best he didn't risk aggravating it.

Just a basketball play gone wrong. It's unfortunate but c'est la vie.

It's a bit cruel we could glimpse what this team at full strength could potentially achieve only to be robbed of it, but such is the life of a Knicks fan. The same injury diminished Melo in our other (potentially) great season a decade ago.

Hopefully they enter the playoffs healthy next year.

This sucks but Precious been holding his own since Randle went down. We aren't gonna get the same production on the offensive side but we are better off defensively. With OG back this team can still make noise in the playoffs. Hoping Precious/Boggy combine their powers and make up for Randles absence. There is no need to throw in the towel.

I hate Miami as much as the next guy, but this is on Randell he will play on tilt and do needlessly aggressive drives, and this is what happens…

I don't think anyone is looking to throw in the towel but Randle's offensive arsenal will be missed. To have Mitch and Precious on the same court will make my head hurt.

It's really now Bogs to stretch out the defense.

We have such dumb fans who are really bitching about Thibs leaving in his starters with a 15 point lead with almost 5 minutes left against a team like Miami? And people really crying cause we don't do load management on healthy players?

You are embarrassing.

It sucks for us b/c after that BKN win I was sure we were a legitimate contender. All I needed to see was OG be more aggressive & the bench unit to keep us afloat. And we did it.

Also, Randle was well on his way to another all NBA caliber season after the horrific start.

Just bad news all around. Get healthy, this isn’t the end of this run.

Start Bogs at PF would be my vote IF OG gets back to have enough offensive punch to make some noise. But just as good a case if not better start Precious instead. As a starter his averages are

12.5 PPG 9.5 RPG 1.4 APG 1.8 BPG 1.1 SPG at 52.6% FG

Hes_On_Fire wrote:The more concerning problem is pairing up a perennially injured guy in OG with someone who overworks his players. On paper it’s a match made in heaven but in reality it’s a huge issue.

Would look I to Mikal Bridges this offseason. He doesn’t need to be a lead guy with us and that’s not his game. He’s a high level role player. Having him there would only improve the defense in the lineup and would be great insurance for OG.

We need to consider all options this offseason. Any and all. Brunson won’t be on a his bargain contract much longer and he’s in the elite prime of his career. Need to make bold moves now.

That **** Knox pick will always haunt us
