All the extra muscle and weight Mitch put on finally paying off. He actually matches up fairly well with Embiid. He needs to keep his arms straight up and don't be afraid to take the charge when Embiid bulldozes in.

Miracle late 4th.
Hope Thibs goes to the lineup that works earlier next game.

Having Deuce and Bogs out there was great for spacing.
Hope Brunson lights it up next game and plays a bit smarter,
Great having Deuce out there with him. Really helps Brunson.

Being able to gut out a W despite JB and Donte struggling is a very good sign.

Nick Nurse is a dangerous coach to have as an opponent but this should comfortably be our series as long as Embiid can’t play more than 36 minutes.

Nah Mitch has always had success guarding Embiid. He doesn't want to see Mitch.

Yep. I specifically said that Brunson's offense + OG's defense were equal in quality to Embiid's play on both ends, but that when it came to Maxey as their second option I would put my money on our collection of shooters over him beating us and that our depth would outplay their bench.

The irony is I was right, yet without major games from either Brunson or OG.

They can't beat us if that's the best they can do. We had 3 very good players today who were all off the bench and one starter who finally went into clutch mode in the 4th and it was enough to beat the legend Embiid and his Robin.
