I am cheering for the Heat today. I look up. I don't look down. Whatever keeps us as far from the Celtics as possible works for me. Also, would prefer to avoid the Magic round one if I can. Rather play literally anyone else.

Exactly. Judging by Miami's schedule and how they've been playing, I don't see them sneaking into the Top 6.

Heat are always a wild card. Playoff Jimmy is a different animal. Lowry last year killed us with the hand checking.
Caleb Martin for his career is a 36% from 3, but in the playoffs he is more like 40%. A lot of pumpkins turn into chariots during the playoffs and then right back into pumpkins as soon as they sign with the Lakers. Looking at you Kendrick Nunn, Norris Cole, Gabe Vincent.

I think it's over for Miami. They rank fairly low in a lot of key statistics they were doing well in last year. This is not the same team, it just isn't.

Miami is one of those teams that I will believe they are dead when they are done being buried.

That has got to be Noah Vonleh’s little sister playing center for Colorado on ESPN right now. Looks like she would have started for us under Fizdale too.

Yo, wait, WTF was that?

Is there any other explanation than Harden being in on the bet?

Should be investigated

I doubt it  Harden was just being a clown.

But...i wouldn't be surprised if someone in the league is crazy enough to do player bets in a game that they're participating in.

Harden always gave me the vibe of full-on degeneracy so nothing would surprise me with him whether it is placing big bets on cockroach races, gifting Fendi bags to horny parking valets or playing hoops while spinning inside a K-hole.

Harden is definitely a degenerate, but i haven't seen anything from him that makes me think he'd gamble on his own games. That's Pete Rose level stuff  that dude has/had a serious problem

If there was one player that I think that without a doubt that bet on his own games, it would be Michael Jordan.

I really believe that theory of MJ being told to fake his first retirement as a way of being disciplined by the league for his gambling.

Yeah, like I said, I don't see Cleveland holding onto the 3rd. They do have a back to back against the Hornets, but they have Philly, Denver, Phoenix, and both LA teams. 6 games against teams with winning records.

Bucks have a seemingly easier schedule. They also play Boston last, which I think they (C's) will go rest everyone.

LOL if Mitchell misses extensive time a 7 or 8 seed isn't out of the question.
