And what is the deal with Grandy? I knew that was a bad signing.

a bad signing? He was our offensive MVP last year. No way we get to the playoffs without him. He is for sure struggling this year. But is still on pace for his 25 HR season. He just isn't walking and getting on base enough right now. Once nice little hot streak and he will be fine.

He's probably a casual Mets fan who barely watches the game. Pay him no mind.

Oh no you didn't!

p.s. Grandy did have a good game last night. Let's hope he picks it up.

I don't go off of "last year" and he's better suited for the AL. He's never really hit for average and he may get his HR's but he's not driving in runs. Fortunately next year is his contract year, maybe the numbers will be there then.

i wouldn't call grandy a bad signing. theres no world series appearance with out him. he not drawing walks like last year and he's had **** luck with the shifts tho. just be patient with him. he usually gets it going eventually. but if not, they should consider calling up brandon nimmi from the minors, especially if lagares hits the DL. He's straight raking down their. We need a contact hitter in the lineup.

actually all them are raking nimmo, cecchini, herrara. and its not just cause they're in vegas. killing it on the road as well. get that trade value up boys lol

granderson has become a bit of a second-half guy, which i'll take over being a pre-all-star guy.
RIP magnumt

This was a crazy game. That 11th inning was hilarious. Harvey with another good outing.

Harvey is back to being Harvey. Which also means no run support lol.

And Wilmer Flores is coming into his own as our present and future 3rd baseman!

And now we have versatile Kelly Johnson back in another great Alderson move!

Mets suck.

Wake up Sandy!

What a pathetic and anemic offensive showing. No hit through 5 innings? 6 innings? Managing only 3 measly hits for the game. Getting shutout by a rookie pitcher making his first MLB start.

That wasn't his first big league start. Mets scored 3 runs against him in Pittsburgh. D'arnaud comes back Tuesday and let's see if Sandy make some internal moves first.

Nimmo is up to .330 in Vegas.
Herrera is up to .299.
D'Arnaud back Tuesday.
Wheeler pitching a simulated game this week, I believe.

We gotta hold the fort down.

The guy I'm really worried about is Duda.
Captain America is doing all he can do to play but we have to accept that this is what it's gonna be with him. Gotta give him credit for wanting back as bad as he does. It's a shame. Kinda expected this from him though.

But the bat we really need to get back is Duda's.
Streaky as they come but when he gets hot it makes the entire lineup better. We have to figure out what's going on with him sooner than later.

Ok, it was his second. All he needed was one "warm up" start against and he almost no-hits us the second time. Plus, Bucs fans were wearing Jon f*cking Niese jerseys at the game. Now, that's just not right. lol

Yeah, we get TDA back but we can't count on him b/c he's always getting hurt - plus he can't throw. And we're still missing Duda at 1B.

We can't count on minor league guys to bail us out and take us to the playoffs. We're going to have to trade Harvey.
