nice to know you hate peterson, i guess you're waiting until alonso's ba falls under .250 so you can make a snarky post.

what other met prospects do you want to fail?

:rofl2:

1. Where do you get this idea that I hate on Alono? I dare you to find one quote.

2. I've been a Mets' fan longer than you so STFU and GTFO : :D

Can’t we all at least agree that we’ve seen enough of Keon Broxton and his anemic .143 average. He cane up with the bases loaded, 2 outs, with the Mets down 8-7 in the top three f the 9th and he ... struck out. Of course. I’d rather Syndergaard or deGrom hit there.

I’m beginning to lose faith in this organization

It's time to say goodbye to Sleepy Mickey. He's put the whole team to sleep.

another player to watch is a harthorne special, ryley gilliam.

even though it's too much to handle, gilliam started the season in single, is now in double a, and should be in the big leagues by july/august.

he has electric stuff! which is why he's dominating double a, like he was in single.

12 games total
18.2 innings
12 hits allowed
5 walks
31 strikeouts
.185 opp ba

the mets bullpen could be real good with their in house options, we're already seeing it with bashlor!

don't even get started on stephen villines.

he hasn't given up a run this season, in 111.2 carrer innings in the minors opponents are hitting .199.

156 k's/21 walks
80 hits

Why would we bring up a kid to this mess in July when we're 10 games out and we just fired the manager?

Mickey won’t make it til the weeks end.
That post game made him sound as clueless as he looks.

That's because he IS clueless. He's the worst manager I've ever seen. Period. Certainly with the Mets. I'd take Terry Collins back in NY second. I'd chauffeur him myself.

I named him "Clueless Callaway" last season. Unlike bNo who spit-shines Callaways cletes

I'm putting the over/under for Mickey at noon Monday. I'll take the under.

I didn't watch today because I knew they were going to come listless and lifeless and lose again. They don't want to play for Callaway and this series proved it. None of the players respect him and they want him gone too. And don't give me Jim Riggleman for the rest of the season either. He was brought on solely to assist Callaway. Maybe we should fire him too?

This organization sucks. Fck the Wilpons. I'm not buying any game tickets or merchandise AGAIN!

Say what you will about NY sports radio but I'm really looking forward to tomorrow's shows. Especially, Joe and Evan.

Honestly I'd love to go after Showalter, but he doesn't fit the mold of what the new Mets are trying to do.

Oh, I'd LOVE Showalter too but the Wilpons would never ever sign a strong-headed manager who didn't tolerate intermeddling from daddy's rich brat who knows little about the game and doesn't know how to manage a business organization.

I read that the Mets have been grooming some young coach from the inside (Lopez? last name). But that they were hoping to have more time to groom him, i.e. he's not ready for prime time either and they don't want to repeat the same mistake and ruin a young coach's confidence or whatever.

So, I don't know where we go from here tbh. I guess they're going to hand on for now because there really aren't any good or even decent, options right now. But if the team has given up on its manager, which they appear to have done with Callaway, then this will only get worse. Look how bad we were this weekend. It's going to be brutal at Citi Field.

We now have a 7 home games (4 vs. Nats; 3 vs. Tigers). My guess is that assuming they don't fire him tomorrow, they'll give him the entire homestand to see how the team responds. If we go below 3-4, then I can only hope that will do it. But who knows with these owners.

The Mets say Yoenis Cespedes has broken both his ankles in an accident on his ranch. The team owes him approximately $21.3 million more this season.

When people say Mets are going to Met and you try to argue it, then something like this happens. I swear its like we're still paying the price for the ball getting by Buckner.
