No no, he literally said his intention is to play for the Jets, and the Packers are just holding it up.

Same **** lol

This whole thing was to clear his name he didn’t want to do Green Bay dirty. It’s Green Bay that wanted to move on.

Is Pat that bad? I've seen clips here and there but I've never tuned in for the whole show.

No, I meant Rodgers wasn't announcing anything

Guess I was wrong.

Yeah I’m starting to see what he’s doing. Being very transparent I thought this episode was going to be Bs.

Packers are probably trying to take Woody to the woodshed.

Not gonna happen, they have no leverage, and Joe Douglas has shown he's sly af as a GM.

Yeah Douglas is solid. Hopefully for the Jets, Rodgers airing out the Packers in push the price down...I'm reading on twatter that they want a Stafford like package.

Raiders were interested if you read in between the lines lmao. Raiders just have a trash rep right now from the outside looking in. Rogers want to retire soon so jets got I say a 2 year window.

As well they should, they have all the leverage. They can just turn around and say you don't wanna play ball? No problem, go pay a boatload of money for Lamar plus two 1sts, deuces.

The Jets don't hold the cards, neither does Rodgers.

How is it not the exact opposite? The Jets want a veteran QB. Woody flat out announced he is absolutely willing to pay for a veteran QB aka Rodgers.

Green Bay have literally no leverage, they can't keep Rodgers on their books, and they can't drag this out and ruin their teams free agency, etc otherwise they'll have to cut their own guys to keep the room Rodgers taking up.

I dont know about that at all. They're rebuilding are they not? They came out and said they're not in a rush even if they wanna clear cap

If you're GB are u really in a rush to get rid of Rodgers when u have the Jets and him by the balls?

Since it's the Jets no matter what they do it probably will not work but especially with this Rodgers situation it especially won't end well.

If Packers don’t trade Rodgers to the Jets, then he’ll probably retire and Greenbay would be on the hook with a 50 mil cap hit in 2024. They have to trade him now. Rodgers kinda did them dirty lol

The path to success is too high to make this worth it, it's superbowl or failure if they go all in on Rodgers and can anyone really imagine a world where the Jets make the superbowl? There's more of a chance of the Knicks in the finals than the Jets in the superbowl.
