in this cap landscape, teams need to obtain bang-for-the-buck players that subscribe to their roles

an additional 50+ percent increase in salary just for tinny increased potential wont fly anymore

IQ is a good defender and is nice at $2 million per right now.
I'm less sure IQ is "nice" at 20 million per, even with cap/cba salary inflation.

I get it though. Every move the Knicks do has to be wrong and suck etc.
