I'm so frustrated feeling like we're reverting back to PRE-Season mode till we get the key guys back.

Not much of a shooter but killer defender, rebounder, and playmaking for a wing.

Looks like a winning player. Sign me up with one of our three picks.

Maybe he can be a Lance Stephenson like player...just without the nuttiness.

The things I like about him (in that video) is his quick reads and crisp passing in addition to his great body + dribble control to get downhill. If his defense is solid, then his currently "poor" outside shooting can result in him dropping to where we have multiple picks.

If RJ could fix his shot... then there's hope for almost anyone lol

It’s just tough to project him cuz he’s playing against nobodies but he seems like a good guy to grab.

We can package them up perhaps to move up. I doubt we trade even one as the draft is so called weak.

Seen this kid mocked in the teens but after games like this he’s probably making his way into the back half of the lottery.

Younger Bogs no defense replacement minus the contract?

This is the guy to target in the upcoming draft

Dude's game is pretty smooth ngl

17/7/4 on 55/40/81 shooting splits as a sophomore and he is 6-10

Indiana State is 25-5 this season

Is he legit?

He looks legit but looks too slow for NBA - sounds familiar…

I‘d draft him in part just to piss off Thibs. And add the younger Bogs just above. Thibs might resign.

Reminds me of "Big Country" Bryant Reeves.

That's a fun comparison! I think this kid actually might be a tad more skilled based off what little I've seen, but Big Country was a straight up OX

You know a guy is good when Shaq name drops you as someone he had to bring his A game for.

I would take Castle at 16 and run

He has shooting issues yes, but he has good size and legit PG skills, plus when you watch him, it's clear he has good instincts as well

He'd be perfect next to Deuce off the bench to be that ball-handling 2-guard, with potential to grow into a legit starting caliber player

But I think if he isn't getting top 10 chatter, he might stay another year. Typically UConn guys don't leave after just 1 year, I think the last high-profile prospect to do so was Drummond in 2012.

You think Bruce brown is a good nba comparison for him?

Sometimes the weakest drafts are the easiest to trade up in. Maybe one of the team in the back half of the lottery who want to win now & might move back to draft a few non project type guys to immediately help

I mean, not really

When I watch Brown, I don't see what people talk about when they say he's a PG, like I don't see the fluidity in his handle or the ability to read the floor. Like, I know assists aren't the best stat for determining PG ability, but he's at 3.5 ap36 this year, which is the same as DDV, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and Cedi Osman. Slightly below RJ and Keldon Johnson, slightly above Grayson Allen and Deuce. Which makes sense to me, because he seems more like a small forward than a big PG

I'd say more like Deni Avdija or Josh Giddey. Which is I guess what people think Bruce Brown is, I just don't see it

This is kind of more of a me not liking Bruce Brown post than a pro-Castle post, so what I'll say is, I think Castle's gonna be very good, just not a star. A connective piece more than anything

But I would've said the same of Jalen Williams 2 years ago, so maybe he exceeds my expectations.

Castle is a higher ceiling prospect with better intangibles than Bruce Brown.

Brown is an undersized wing with limited PG skills, passable handles, and his 3 point shot is what you'd expect from a career 33% shooter. He's not a bad player, but i wouldn't even call him a combo guard at this point.

Castle is 6'6 right now and he's what, 18? and his wingspan is way longer. He looks around 207-210 with a frame that can develop muscle...I think he projects to be a legit NBA wing, his jumper has room for improvement. The upside is high.

The area that really separates Castle from Brown is his ball handle ability. He's really crafty and heady, he knows how to get to his spots. Guys like that can become deceptively good scorers despite not being lightning quick. But he's going to need to develop that long ball jumper at the next level.

I bet wassermann was like who’s a guard that rebounds and all he could come up with was Bruce brown
