Primarily being able to see the play as it unfolds, being in the right spot almost all the time (he's constantly moving in the flow of the offense), creating a bit of space and knowing when to pull back and shoot, when to attack and when a little fake to create distance is sufficient to get a good looking shot. That's the type of guy that winning teams would want and someone that will make everyone else look good cause it won't likely take much for him to get into the right position to either take a shot and help your playmakers look real good. On a good well run team, he could shine. He's a prototype Popovich type player.

Might fall in our range too.... how's his 3pt shooting and defensive potential?

Solid on both. He's shooting 39% right now and his ability to get open on offense and positioning on defense should help once he hits the NBA.

I'm seeing several 6'6" and up 3&D guys in this draft... if so, we should be loading up on 2 or 3 of those types. Guys who can play PF-SF-SG depending on match-ups... and, preferably, guys who can also get to the rim on closeouts.

Starting to come around to this guy too. I’d love it if we came away from the draft with him.

Looking like we'll have the ~22nd and ~25th picks or thereabouts.... and the 39th...

I say take the three best 6'7" and above 3&D guys at our positions and see if any of them can turn into OG-lite type players.

Tyler Kolek & DaRon Holmes II would perfectly fit the Knicks

Love that the Knicks now have back to back picks at 24 and 25. Knicks need some size and some shooting. The 2 guys I want are Tristan Da Silva and Johnny Furphy. Both guys are around 6'9, Da Dilva more of a SF/PF while Furphy is a SG/SF. Da Silva is a little more NBA ready and can be a Bogi type of scorer. I think Furphy can be a bigger Donte with his catch and shoot ability and running in transition. Both guys as far as attitude goes also seem to fit this team like a glove.

I think it's telling the front office looked at guys like Burks and Shake Milton. I think we look for a taller creating guard that can play spot minutes alongside smaller guards like Brunson and Deuce. Kevin McCullar, Kyshawn George and Hunter Sallis are all super interesting.

Knicks will probably draft a 3&D wing, a PG and a C.

The wing is just generally useful. The PG and C are to backfill positions the Knicks see themselves dealing organizational depth from. (Rokas rights or McBride, Mitch and/or Sims)

The Knicks and the Mavs have both finished with 50 wins, which means there will be a random drawing to see if the Knicks get the 24th pick and the 25th pick in the draft… or the 24th pick and the 25th pick in the draft

Fringe moves that make sense? Who are you and what have you done with Buzz?

Funny feeling having two FRPs in the draft and not even caring. Hoping we can find some Mitch/IQ/Deuce level players if we use them. We haven't been too successful in the top of the draft.

I would expect the Knicks (IF they use both 1st round picks) to look specifically at the front court (C, PF/SF types). No guarantee that Hartenstein will return and with Mitch pretty much a guarantee to go on the IL for stretches they really would do well to look for someone that can offer up some size and defense in the paint. Same with SF as you do have the possibility however unlikely that OG also could go elsewhere.

Does Edey just make too much sense for the Knicks not to draft if he is there at 24 or 25? I think Thibs would love to get his hands on him to develop into his super big. The amount of space he would give JB and the wing shooters off that pick and roll would be crazy. You have to drop 2 or 3 down to stop him. If you don't think that will translate to the NBA then you have never actually seen him play.

If they decide to keep their picks. Get me long athletic, switchable defenders who have offensive tools…also open to cam Thomas/ben Gordon like prospects..microwave 3 level guard scorer…I don’t expect these guys to play their rookie years either

I want us to get Edey and for him to get a sponsorship with a local Indian restaurant so we can see "The Best Edey curry NY has ever seen"

I would not mind... can't shoot a lick of 3's (20%) so far, but that's the only reason he'd be available to us with hopefully the 38th pick... elite defender, length, athlete.... could turn into a nice role player if he could ever fix his 3pt shot to 33%+.

Get two additional prospects who are 3&D 6'7 and above to go along with Dunn and one or two of those guys may turn into legit NBA players...

His lack of shot creating ability or shooting is a bit concerning. Defensively and from a finishing standpoint he looks great.
