Thanks grizzlies

But I will say it’d be cool if we could somehow get Marcus smart now. Brunson Smart OG backcourt you have two guys who can defend all 5 positions

Smart/OG/Mitch lineups would be insane.

Happy to see him gone, he was a SG (not really a point guard) that went cold and hot as he pleased, not with the 20M+ that he was looking for.
Better to invest his 20M+ on a more consistent player and let Grimes, McBride, Hart and ddv share his divide his playing time
Good riddance

But you're actually wrong. IQ has improved greatly particularly in PnR situation. You should check those stats out. IQ has put in the work and he'll continue to improve. Do you remember the Hawks playoff series his rookie season? He was absolutely pathetic. I think there is more ceiling left.

We could've really used IQ (along with OG, of course) in this season's playoffs. But we'll look for a backup PG soon.

So, who were you before?

Then you should say positive things about RJ in this thread! It will explode!

What should be remembered is back in the dark days coming out of the Fizdale era, IQ's rookie season flashing big scoring (20 pts plus) many times off the bench gave everyone HOPE.  :rocking:

Now we have not just one good player (Randle) but 4 (Brun, OG and IHart) with a few pretty good ones (Hart, DDV and Mitch R) joining them. Good times comin''.

When you identify a draft prospect you really love and then the team you root for picks them who turns into a great player, there is a stronger emotional bond developed with them.

Nothing but love for iq. I enjoyed his time here.

I'll miss when he was on and started skipping around the court. He made Knicks basketball fun and entertaining while also satisfying the stat nerds.

Once a knick always a knick.

Kill it Quick.

RJ Barrett was and is a genius with the basketball.

His artistry in the open court is akin to a young Barishnikov effortlessly vaulting across the Manhattan skyline.

To see RJ Barrett operate on an NBA court is like witnessing the fine tuned strokes of a brain surgeon or a steely muscled barracuda leap from the sea to snap itself loose from the tormenting coils of a deep sea fisherman's lines.

When RJ Barrett performs his hardwood magic statisticians recoil in fear as their mathematical riddles of scorn wither in the scorching heat of his talent's intensity.

RJ Barrett is the GOAT of all things GOATable, GOATworthy and James Worthy.
