He's at least serviceable. Produces with minutes.

Bill Simmons on Jonathan Isaac: “It’s like watching Bill Russell.”

Y’all are in trouble next season when I unleash my injured dude squad:

PG: Lonzo
SG: ???
SF: Someone trade me Ben Simmons
PF: Clarke
C: Isaac

this was the year that I jumped back into Baf and was definitely rusty...I didnt fully research Bol to the point of finding out
that he had serious medical concerns at the time. Had I known that - I would have not taken him at #4...

With that said, 6 years later and it seems that Wemby may inspire Bol to get to work. We both know he has the talent but with 6 years passing it's clear to me that he hasnt taken his personal attention to his game to the next level...

What do you think?

I’ve always been intrigued by Bol. Which is why I talked him up to you in the past, and also why I eventually acquired him when I had the opportunity.

Their physical profile and talent attributes are similar but the main difference is their mental approach and work ethic.

Bol is content to chase IG models/thots on his downtime and has a questionable attitude. Wemby is way more focused on basketball and has more of an alpha mentality.

Outlook wise, Bol has been labeled with a certain stigma now, and we all know in the NBA when your reputation precedes you, it’s hard to shake those negative labels. I doubt any team will ever view him as a starting material type of player, or that he’ll ever get any type of long-term contract or guaranteed mins that makes him a predictable player for BaF purposes.

Thats exacty what it looks like to me...
Well...It wil be interesting to see if Bol wakes up...
Is Wemby trying to add weight? what are his goals for his frame over the next 3 years?

Wemby is quoted as saying he doesn’t need to “bulk up,” he said other players need to “skinny up!”

I don’t think Wemby needs to do anything other than focus on becoming more efficient. Other than that, he’s having a landmark rookie season. Especially defensively.

Right now it’s between him and Gobert for NBA DPOY. Either way the voting shakes out, it bodes well for my BaF team defensively, making major improvements (along with Amen’s defensive impact and efficiency) for next BaF season.
