Burks has been Frank level bad!! 32% from the floor and under 30% from 3pt! And had the nerve to chuck 14 shots in 12 minutes!!!

We need Shake to kick his ass in practice and force Thibs to play him over that scrub!

You have washed up players who were once good.

Then you have washed up journeyman scrubs who were never good.

Those are the ugly results.

And yes I know he's been awesome and consistent, amazing around the basket already. But the whole scoring on the move stuff I saw tonight still had me surprised.

I remember when that trade was made and I was listening to NBARadio on SiriusXM and some guy was interviewed (sorry don't remember his name) talking about Precious and that he had a very high ceiling but he needed to be sort of unleashed. I don't see him being unleashed in this system but we all can see his upside...

Yeah. Evan did score 7 points on 10 shots. What more can he do?

Burks was shooting 40.1% from 3 on the pistons this season and 29% here. Wtf happened?

Perhaps Thibs just lets him do whatever he wants and he needs to be guided more strictly

It's annoying because it's hard to evaluate anyone with the current state of the team.

You don’t think he played the same way on the Pistons? My first instinct would be to say he hasn’t adjusted to the team or the lights of the garden are too bright but he’s played here before and made shots here before so it can’t be that. He’s just in an insane shooting slump and at this rate he may not survive it. If he can’t hit 3s at 40% he’s a major negative. A lot of the shots are wide open too. He should reduce his attempts and try to focus on shot selection but even then the ball is just not going in for him

We should buy Burks out. That sort of selfish, putrid, no-defense play is poison. Just cut ties, man.

Burks is washed. Just not good anymore. Hopefully we get healthy so he doesn’t have to play or Shake can take his minutes

I mean even if he starts hitting 3s his defense is bad and he chucks way too much with too many errors.

i only caught the second half of the game, but from what i saw the loss isnt entirely on burks. deuce, bojan, donte also played pretty terrible too. we need randle and brunson to come back soon so these guys can have a smaller role. also would like to see og in that 3rd option role he started to embrace right before he got hurt

2nd highest usage rate on the team. It was the same crap last time. He ALWAYS calls his own number.

I used to think there's a useful player there, if you limit him to catch and shoot 3's with the occasional attacking the close out, and it was Thibs who was forcing him to be something he never has been or ever will be. But maybe it's him.

We're only playing him because we have to right now. We're playing Deuce and Hart like 44 minutes a game. When Brunson comes back, Deuce has his backup minutes, then when OG comes back Hart eats Burks' minutes. But at present time, until we get Shake in the game we just have nobody.

These injuries have been brutal.
