Actually, the guy that fits that description is Cazzie Russell. He was the biggest sparkplug off the bench and a Garden favorite

Yes on the 70 team Cazzie was that sparkplug along with Dave Stallworth. The Minutemen they were called. The 73 team didn't have a bench scorer like that. Meminger did famously come off the bench to defeat the Celtics in game 7 of the ECF, shutting down JoJo White and scoring 13 himself.

Stallworth had to take over for Willis when he was injured. Willis was only 6'9" as a center, but Stallworth was 6'7" and he had to guard Wilt Chamberlain of all players. He did pretty well. They did win the series.

He was once considered to be the messiah.

A whole broadway musical was written about him.

I don't know much about Rokas. Is he likely to come over next season?

I don't think anyone knows nor does anyone expect it.

The word over a season ago was he was reluctant to come over if he wasn't guaranteed floor time, a reasonable concern with Thibs as the coach.

It is possible the emergence of Deuce will effectively kill any demand for Rokas in NYC, but I want him here because he looks like a true distributing PG with good fundamentals, the ability to turn the corner, passing skills and an outside shot.

Since I can see Deuce playing off the ball too, I'm not sure they are redundant. You can never have too much PG depth IMO.

No. He wants a big role if he comes to the NBA. Brunson/Deuce/DDV will be playing allot of the minutes he would want. I think he's added to a trade sooner or later.

Love Precious' on court demeanor. All business, no bull sht

OG as well while we're at it

These two both have a steadying effect on the team

MVP = Burks

Any game he barely plays or doesn’t play then we can contend with any team.

He is so so so bad.

I thinks thibs realize McBride is the far superior player.
McBride. Supreme defense
Higher iq offense plays within Rythm

I was one of the people that thought getting Burks was a good idea. He was having a nice season in Detroit or so I heard. Deuce definitely has earned Burks' minutes.

Thibs gotta make sure Precious gets at least 20 MPG when everyone's healthy.

It’ll be very interesting. I am leaning toward the notion that Precious is kind of an alternate OG. They’re more similar than say Precious and iHart.

Situational.

The only situation he should play is if their are only 4 other available players.

Agreed. The notion of I-Hart (Mitch)/Precious/Hart sounds like a very formable backup front court.
