Yeah I guess but its not really done overall in the NBA at all for some reason. Seems like such an obvious thing to do for every team that has a more 'offensive' or 'defensive' coach, like Mike D'Antoni hiring a really good defensive coach or something.

I think the bench won it for them. Hopefully the starters come back in time that we can get some of these guys adjusted to their bench roles again.

Obv they have no main cogs left but teams that play defense and pass rather than dribble are going to upset you … on more than rare occasion … and we have only a couple of main cogs who are faltering from fatigue and injuries

So not to put a good face on it but it’s sort of missing the obvious that good D, passing and timely shots can win games against any team … the other team did all that tonight

the trade was suppose to help our offense.

Now it doesn't help that thibs doesn't run an actual offense to get easy buckets...and when teams get into us and frustrate brunson we really take some god awful shots...but an awful deadline from Leon.

Why sign Shake if he's not gona play when we need him most? Thibs is a **** clown

Logged in just to +1 this! Makes no damn sense. Shake could’ve gotten us at least 7 extra points and for sure would’ve been more productive then Burps

Just downright embarrassing. Some people like to point out that we're missing 3 starters and teams lose to us. But the 6ers doesn't have Embiid and Maxey while Tobias shows nothing. We loss to Paul Reed, Oubre and turnovers.

Thibs rotation doesn't scream "we need scoring" when we need scoring. He is just doing his motion to get through the game. You can't score all game and Bojan was the only one who really did something. What's the point of signing Shake?

teams have been doing this for a while. but just don't have the official names like coordinators in the nfl. thibs was the defensive coach of the celtics that won in 2008. tex winter was the offensive coach for the bulls back in the day.

this is the only one i can find with the official name of offensive coordinator. prigoini is the "offensive coordinator" for the timberwolves lol
