Funniest comment from Thibs in a long time. He has a sense of humor.

It's true about how quiet it is in these post game threads after a win...it's like walking on a freeway during pandemic lockdown
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

No I agree, I’d prefer to avoid the play in just because who knows what could happen in any given game and we could get bounced but other than that I don’t care who we play

Agreed. And it is very difficult for a bad or dirty ref to change the outcome over 5 to 7 games, but they could tank your whole season during the play-in games

Or for us to just randomly lay an egg and can’t throw a beach ball in the ocean like the last game. Too many variables to want to put it to chance

For me making the playoffs was where my bar was set, I really wanted to be in there twice in a row and 3 times in the past 4 seasons, I feel like this removes any lingering doubt that this team is seriously competitive not just a fluke. And there’s still a lot of basketball left but it looks like we are likely to get there. Winning a playoff series like we did last year would be a major bonus. I say this because this is not a finished product of a team and still is stocked with many first round picks, still likely to make another big move in the future. I wasn’t expecting a championship but hey I won’t be mad if they go out and win one either

This has been a great season for me, besides the injuries. But even that shows that we have battled through some adversity and didn’t just get obscene luck to stay healthy. We’ve actually had some of the worst luck and still making it. So there is a lot of room for upside even now

Yes, it is a good season, particularly due to the circumstances that allowed players like Precious, Deuce, Hart and Donte to take full advantage of their opportunities and show us what kind of depth we're going to have at full strength. That's why I've felt mostly positive during this stretch and understood the losses were part of the maturation process while short-handed. Other than my occasional outbursts about Thibs I've enjoyed hanging in there with our weary soldiers.

Yes again to having further upside. Not sure why some Knicks fans continually underrate our overall talent level. I think we've got a nice roster now. With Randle and Mitch back, how are we not going to be a problem for other teams? Who are they going to double?

Tonight was the perfect illustration of how dominant a leading defense can make your team and end up pumping up your offense simultaneously. To go from the last Philly game to this game was like exiting a hall of mirrors into a land of opportunity.

Who was the last team to hold opponents under 80 straight games. Obviously I keep seeing last time Knicks did it was 2000 but I'm curious the last time any team did it

I was told two days ago only 4 teams had scored under 80 this season to begin with.. now 5 obviously

So couldn't be this season.

Let those tears out Buzz. It's okay to be upset cuz OG locked up your favorite player, Tobias Harris.

If Jalen Brunson is our Brunson Burner,
Is Deuce our After Burner?

I would like to see more minutes with OG and Bogie upfront, just to see if OG can help get Bogie going. I get it - in the playoffs, we'll be down to an 8 man rotation and Bogie will be the 9th guy anyway, but he's always been a solid performer in clutch situations and we could really use him down the stretch.

OG looked good. Shot was looking fine, very characteristic 2 hand dunks, even went up with the 1 hand slam with the right arm on the break. But I did notice him on the bench kinda covering that elbow with a towel and massaging it after he checked out for the night

Hopefully just some discomfort until he's back at 100% and nothing to actually worry about.

Both of them are old school type of guys. Hustle and defense. Very unselfish and team oriented. Rare these days and we have 2 of them.

Macri on KFS made an interesting point that there's probably only one guy in the league that can give OG problems on defense by bullying him down low, and he's already on the roster (Randle).

Candace is so bad at her job. She’s got Frank Isola defending the Knicks. It has to be at least since 12-13 that Frank has said anything nice about the Knicks and I wouldn’t be shocked if it was even longer than that.

The minutes thing seems overstated

But I thing the banishing of guys for no reason and sticking with guys no matter what … that’s more real
