Do you think Warriors fans are saying Deuce is their SOTN?
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

IShart...Hart, Donte. There are half a dozen guys as good or better than each, in the role player category. But they specifically targeted these guys. Who drives that?

of course there is a theme and common characteristic of role players selfless, tough, hard working...I clear direction I think is shared from the FO, to the Coach, to the players...not sure one person can specifically get all the credit since it seems everyone has there niche of helping the team.

Dolan hiring Leon
Leon hiring WWW
Leon bringing hin his buddy and tough minded detail oriented coach Thibs
Thibs building his staff and Leon knowing what players thibs likes and can thrive in his system and under his coaching.
Having a selfless leader being your best player in Brunson
Acquiring players that share the same belief and fit into there roles and culture.

its just a trickle down. seems like a family affair.

It probably is. It's interesting to me this is working. Generally it's one person with the main vision and then those who support it, where the Knicks are very tight lipped and who actually does what not clear with Leon's media silence

Even if Leon does absolutely nothing but eat pizza all day long like Jabba the Hut he still gets credit for letting the inmates run the pizza oven

Who was it Thibs called his backup QB, Obi? Now he’s got someone new to take a few practice snaps.

Deuce and Charlie Ward (Heisman winner) both QBs are not that far apart in their games. Charlie was a competent, if unspectacular facilitator, could stick a shot and played excellent defense.

TBH, I think Deuce is better at both D and shooting. And he's evolving a lot now, especially when creating for himself.

But Charlie was a solid guy. Both guys being QBs shows in their composure.

good regular season coach. one of the best you could ask for.

Terrible playoff coach. and that will forever be his legacy until proven otherwise. Kind of same reputation as Doc Rivers.

He is the coach before the guy to get us over the hump.

While I tend to agree with this take... I just want to ask which series should he have won that he lost as a direct result of his coaching?

Also funny coincidence that Doc's only title came with Thibs as his assistant.

the man took us to the 2nd round and we took a finals team to 6 games with a hobbled randle. i am pretty sure we exceeded expectations, did we not lol

and comparing him to doc rivers is wild. that man is a known choker with loaded teams. when has thibs had a talentful team and choked?

oh he's very comparable to Doc when it comes to making in game adjustments or taking several games to do so. not wild at all. AND furthermore, my opinion.

** also don't forget in that Miami series the only 2 games we won was were Butler was out and when he was clearly hobbled when he came back.

That is not true whatsoever

What is true is some coaches excel on one end of the floor more than the other

And David Fizdale excelled at neither end

Kerr, Nash and Phill Jackson will like to have a word. Their systems and offensive coaching is what changed the game and how players defend.

I looked up Monica's playing career and she was a really solid player at Georgetown. Starter and double figure scorer her junior and senior years, and all Big East as a junior. Her last two years, she shot .353 and .341 on 5.7 and 6.0 three point attempts per game.

Yeah man Monica could hoop

Long arms, nice touch from outside.

Monica has such a bright future ahead as a hoops analyst. Glad to see that ESPN realizes it too. She should be getting more national TV games honestly

I love that little shimmy she gave after hitting that 3.

Wow dude is saying bing bong in the review now. Back to back games of praise.

Thibs man

when u watch his videos on other coaches.

what we lose on offense with thibs, we gain on defense.

its so very clear that some other coaches on good teams dont even coach defense after watching his videos.

compare these two breakdowns

tell me thibs is a bad coach. you simply cannot

Biggest problem I'm seeing in the bad coaching vids, is players are not communicating and not sprinting back in transition. A lot of other things as well lol

D’Antoni has proven himself that he cant be a head coach… all the rest including Pop have had lead assistant coach to run the offense! Head coaches in general are more for defense, adjustments and man menagements… even the game plans in sports are at least in half are made by the assistants
