So sick of the parallel narratives of embiid being so great and if only he wasn’t getting injured…dude has no self accountability , he’s fat and poorly conditioned every year. Being fat at that size he will get you injured and exacerbate your poor conditioning …his foul baiting is out of necessity due to his poor conditioning ….the poor conditioning also leads to his terrible decision making late in games….being conditioned is a part of being a great player….Struggle is not a struggle if it is self imposed

LeBron wouldn't need to be the 1A here as he is in LA. Anybody with sense and two functional eye balls knows AD can't lead an offense or make his teammates better on that end. So it's still incumbent upon LeBron to make plays. As he gets older, LA regresses.
LeBron here could still be a HOF-level connector and a secondary decision-maker after Brunson. Like an Iguodala on crack.
Could be the play.
Rather not have the first title in my lifetime tied to and owed to LeBron of all people. He would steal the spotlight and overshadow everything. We deserve better than that.
I get you but he's one of the 3 greatest players of the sport we love, so I wouldn't mind it. By the time it happens (if it ever does), he will have been one of us, so our relationship with him as fans will be different. I'd rather win with our current group no doubt but we're talking about another level of basketball excellence here.

Don't worry you probably will not see a title in your lifetime.

random question about the aprons - does anyone know if they are set or change each year based on the cap? like is it a percentage of the cap? the NBA is about to sign a crazy deal and the cap will certainly go up. do the aprons go up too?
if so that will help us a lot.

Re: Around the NBA - Continued to bloodcl--
How f*cking pathetic is it that with 3.5 seconds remaining down 3 in an elimination home game, Nick Nurse and Joel Embiid's Sixers intentionally run a play to draw a foul instead of just going for the straight-up game winning shot?
Just a loser mentality through and through.

Yes agreed, but I'm not surprised at all. It's consistent with their play al l series...using cheap tactics to get wins. In the end it failed.

They’re too good to not be around after next season. If not TNT then it’ll be some other channel/platform. NBA can’t lose them.
People can talk all the shyt they want about them, and some of it’s warranted, but they know they love them deep down and will be sorry when they’re gone.

Embiid is a stinking ass bitch and I'm tired of pretending that he's not.
Dirty ass player, in both the literal and figurative sense.

Chuck and Ernie are the lifeblood of the show. I don't think I'd watch without them.

It really sucks that Burks isn't playable because the line up could use another shooter

I think Shaq was a perfect addition to that show. Dude is funny as hell and you gotta love that he doesn’t care about clowning himself a lot either.
