Hey Knicks, get prepared for something like this. Jojo still have a lot for his "keep fighting" statement.

I want us to be physical and rough Embiid up, but we cant be doing dirty sh*t like he did.
We got most other fans on our side. The refs got their “make up game” out of the way. We should be able to play ball now, but they wont tolerate any obvious retaliation. Our guys must stay tough but poised.
Put Embiid on his ass when we foul him and let him feel each hit, but keep it clean(ish) unless you want a rotation player to be tossed.
As far as our team goes, if Jalen is back then we need OG, Donte, Deuce, and Bojan to put up more points. Josh has been our 2nd scorer crazily enough, but not sure how much longer he can keep it up. Isaiah’s floater is almost automatic, but he gotta stay on the floor. Donte and Deuce have been inconsistent. OG needs to be more aggressive, but it’s not in his nature.
We scored pretty well last night actually. D was bad. Should try switching up the coverages and matchups more often. Have OG, Donte, and Deuce take turns on Maxey. Have Isaiah, Mitch/Precious, and OG take turns on Embiid. Throw different looks at em and confuse. Maybe use a zone for a bit. Thibs doesn’t seem to budge from his schemes much though. We’ll see if any adjustments are made.

I seem to learn more on why he is so talented yet having so many injuries in his NBA career. Maybe karma plays a part here. Or he should just go to WWE.

Agree it is still basketball first for the Knicks, and should leave the zebras and the NBA on managing those dirty plays by the former MVP. It doesn't feel right to go for wrestling or MMA in a basketball game.TrueWarrior wrote:I want us to be physical and rough Embiid up, but we cant be doing dirty sh*t like he did.

If NBA "leggo" for him doing those before, don't expect it will be treated differently this time.
What we can do is to beat this team on the court and make them go wrestling with the fish during their vacations.

It took a miracle bounce from Brunson and 3 missed calls for us to secure a game 2 victory. What the Sixers did in the third quarter can happen any night, that's how good Embiid and Maxey are. Despite all of this we never gave up and kept fighting back and that's what I feel will be the difference for us. We are more composed, smarter and do better in pressure situations. You can tell Embiid and the Sixers are very well in their feelings right now and it will continue to get worse as the series progresses. If this goes 7 and it very much can, I think we come out on top just due to the reasons I just stated.
No I disagree.
That was not a miricle bouce. You obviously dont shoot the ball on a regular basis...That forward roll into the rim is what happens when the ball rolls of of your finger tips and you have the right follow through.
you could be a kid and get it. It very common for a skilled shooter:Spoiler:
In game two we had a lead with 2:37 to go. Jalen
Brunson was too aggressive and was not poised- the sixers took advantage and took the lead. We never quit and got back our lead that we had originally. So no that wasnt a "miracle shot/bounce.
As far as the calls...Thibs said it perfectly I want to see the 46 minute report. You obviously didnt see all of the "missed calls" that Brunson should have had throughout the game.
Dirtbiid formerly known as Embiid is a dirty player and actress. Period.
I just started watching this Knick team in December. I've been watching the Knicks since 94. This knick team is filled with winners.
You can have 1 superstar and a bunch of winning - clutch players and win it all. You cant dismiss the knicks winning ways in game 1 and 2 and say they should have been down 2 games. Just like a lay up- you have to finish the play. The knicks finished both games
and won and sadly for the sixers Dirtbiid grabbed mitch's feet mid air and should have been ejected so frankly "he shouldnt have been in the game".

if mitch can’t go ihart becomes that much more important for us.. hopefully the refs actually let him play and don’t handcuff him like they do all embiid defenders with the phantom foul calls that quickly takes him out the game

NO! F*ck that!!
It's time to go 90s KNICKS and send a "HARD" message to Embiid. Otherwise, the refs owe us a "make up" game for letting him get away with murder on the court last night -- and it will never end.
By the time we finish with him, that left eye should be working again!!

Hopefully Mitch was in a boot as a precaution and these next few days he rests up and is good for Sunday man. We need him. iHart just isn't big enough to guard Embiid the whole game. I wouldn't mind seeing Precious in there at PF with the idea he guards Embiid on the perimeter and iHart ready in the paint..

I said Im all for hard fouls and playing tough bro. Im just not into trying to intentionally injure people like Joel did. All that would do is get our guys ejected. They dont have the protection Joel does, and the retaliating team always gets harsher punishment.
Like what do some of you want us to do? Just run up and punch the guy? That is weak. Play mean, but play basketball.

As a raptor fan we have seen Embiid's reckless play injure our own guys, but what he did to Mitch was absolutely dirty. I am really rooting for your guys to somehow take this series vs a protected player who has a cheat code for freethrows. Also ..go OG!
