Precious helped win G4 and Thibs basically looked at him during G5 and said "nah I dont trust he could contribute to our trying to win this game" that's just mind blowing to me

Rant aside I think we can absolutely close them out here in G6. Can Maxey and this time Embiid go off again? Yes, but I think we somehow focus better on the road vs at home, our execution is better, our attention to detail is better. I think Precious can really help lock down the Sixers, but if he doesn't play, as long as we avoid foul trouble, and don't commit silly/ unforced turnovers, we should pull this one out. I picked us in 6 or 7, hoping it's not 7, although it's back in MSG.

What's being lost in this whole conversation is that both the Knicks/6ers series, and the Bucks/Pacers series sit at 3-2. We should be sitting and waiting for that dogfight to play out in that other series. While we are playing a gimpy Embiid team filled with shiddy role players and we are playing a 7 man rotation with guys playing 40+ minutes, the Bucks could win tomorrow and both Dame and Giannis have been rested. If we manage to emerge victorious (hopefullly in 6, NOT 7), we are going to have to play a team of Middleton (BALLIN!!!), Lopez (Tough big to cover), Beverly (Fukkin PEST!!!), Portis off the bench....and a rested pair of Dame and Giannis.....with this dog tired team. We don't do ourselves any favors. We continuously get down early, we muster up scrappy late runs, but we are out talented, unrested AND without a cavalry to spell the wounded. Let's hope we only lost a toe when we shot ourselves in the foot.

Not many coaches are going to bench their starting 2-guard in the playoffs. Especially someone who has been vocal about Thibs. +uld even consider giving Divo some of Hart's minutes and give more minutes to Deuce.

But isn't this just like when Grimes=DDV and DDV was the old Deuce? Same dynamic where the bench 2G provides the energy scoring. Which makes me wonder if it isn't more about something off with the coaching/schemes?

Get my boy Hart some rest Thibs. There is no reason to play this man the entire game when you got Precious on the bench and to a lesser degree Burks. He should be able to at least get 5 minutes of rest between those two.

I hope I am dead wrong but I'm going into this game assuming and expecting there will be a Game 7. The zebras tonight are going to be brutal!
