Yeah, NGL, I thought he was missing one. He looked pissed the ref called a foul right before giving the ball to Brunson.

I thought he was more upset that hart wasn't able to catch and finish a layup - maybe upset at himself for not making a better pass.

There was nothing illegal about that Brunson/Batum foul. Nothing. Batum was following him entirely too close, at full speed, and not ready for him to pull up. Brunson quite literally took a normal stop and pop shot. He didn't jump backwards in any way at all. In fact, he continued forward a bit if anything. Batum just defended it poorly by giving himself no room to make adjustments, and clearly fouled him.

It's crazy that Sixers fans are so furious that they believe an obvious shooting foul, on a clear mistake by their guy, is somehow Trae Young/Steph Curry jumping into the defender in an unnatural direction.

yup the whole "he jumped backwards" narrative is nonsense. he is using the defender's out of control momentum to make them pay as he jumps STAIGHT UP.

I do feel like matchup isn’t great with Indy … but lbh the 6ers are a dangerous team with a monster center and explosive PG … and they have long defensive role players who get it done

Their speed up and down will be a problem but this is the playoffs and if anyone can slow it them down, we can.
Playoff time and the game usually slows down. A messed up Bucks team held them under 100 twice. If we can hold them under 110 points or so, we should be ok.

OG will probably be on Siakam and Deuce/DDV will be on Hali. I like both matchups. Maybe OG at times on Hali.
I wonder if Precious would do the best on Turner? Mitch not so good on the outside but Turner ain’t quick. IHart might do ok on him.

It depends a lot on whether we can impose our offensive rebounding on them. They’re not a great rebounding team - if they’re forced to throw multiple people at the boards and box them out, they can’t run as well.

this is a great point - if we are killing them on the boards they won't be able to leak out as much but that goes both ways. if they're hurting us in transition we could look to not send as many to the boards.

...but having a 65% Embiid for 2 games and then an 85 percent Embiid the rest of the way is a major advantage over having a totally missing Randle, Miss Bogs for 2-3 games, Missing Mitch for a game . We were the most compromised team by far but we should be humble?

Hartenstein was slapped as hard as possible by Embiid and made the 2. They would have called a foul if he missed but the game could have been decided by a point. Absurd. No way Hartenstein gets away with that the other way.
