Ok so, maybe someone whos really good with the rules can explain to me, I see Sixers fans crying about this play Brunson does;

To me, I kept saying its because Brunson is going forward, not jumping back into the defender like Trae used to. Is that it?

Why is it a foul, cause they do mention the Trae Young stuff, so I wonder what IS different, iirc Young used to jump back into the defender to get the call..

its similar.

trae would a lot of times jump backwards to create that contact

I know I get it, but I really want to know why this ISN'T the same thing as what Trae Young was doing in 2021.

I genuinely don't know, unless its what I said about Brunson jumping forward vs Trae jumping back.

I know I get it, but I really want to know why this ISN'T the same thing as what Trae Young was doing in 2021.

I genuinely don't know, unless its what I said about Brunson jumping forward vs Trae jumping back.

think Brunson stops and the momentum of the defender keeps going into him. camera and speed of the game might make it a difficult play to judge.
