1. Pressure Hali full court to slow their tempo
2. Make sure 3 guys get back on defense early
3. Don’t speed up our offense; use clock
4. Kill them on the boards
5. Let Brunson cook and feed of the doubles he gets
6. Play physical 1-on-1 defense and stay at home on shooters

The loss of Mathurin for them was huge. He was basically their equivalent of IQ when IQ was still with us. We match up with them fairly well. As long as we can control the pace of the game, we should win.

Let's face it - an injured Giannis/Dame/Middleton team was no match for them. They really haven't been tested yet and still managed to get blown out somehow in game 5.

Philly/New York felt like a semifinals series. This series with Indy feels like a first round matchup

Said before that I feel like this will be a 99’ style run… Sixers were the 99’ Heat… tough matchup down to the wire. Pacers will be the Hawks of that year…

Good thing we have OG. I’d also break out Precious. These guys should know Siakam well.

Be aware of leakouts when we crash the offensive boards.

TJ McConnell has circled this in his calendar, he was the constant Knick killer when we weren't that good.

Still need to watch out for him.

No Mitch and no OG in any of our regular season meetings. All 3 meetings took place prior to the all-star break. Pacers haven't even felt the presence of our best perimeter and interior defenders yet. I like our chances.

Excellent point...I knew there was a reason I thought their wins were fugazy but I couldn't remember why.

If you’ve been watching Indiana in the playoffs you’ll realize this isn’t the same regular season version and I mean that it in a good way.

Compared to the RS, Indiana is AVG 6 less transition PPG, their overall PACE went from #2/30 at 102.7 to ranked #10/16 at 92.8. They are AVG 10 less PPG on the whole, shooting worse from 3PT and are still absolutely lackluster getting to the charity stripe. Defense is still well below average.

I will admit (a) their rebounding/nose for the ball seems much better (b) TJ bullies a lot of bench guards and has bodied McBride before on numerous drives and (c) Myles Turner just hit 18 damn threes vs Bucks.

Faces you specifically will want to punch beyond a shadow of a doubt: Nesmith & Nembhard
