Wilson Chandler..

Post#1 » by nyk2423 » Thu Jan 3, 2008 5:07 am

I didnt get to see the game but according to the box score it looks like isiah finally gave the kid some minutes and he filled up the stat sheet but as most of us already know.the stat sheet doesnt tell the whole story. So my question is how did he look out on the court?Did it look like he can make it in this league?

I think if he came in Starting he would be at a good scorer with a good coach and defender too

Just needs a better shot selection he thinks he is a star at this point man

He is confident

Needs a good system and tough coach.

He was horrible to be honest.

I think he will be a career bench player for the most part.

No, it was him inflicting pain on the game.

He wasn't the perfect basketball player or anything but I think he has potential. He even had a block, which the Knicks average I think 1 of per season.

You can watch him here. Cosmic uploaded some of the game.

Balkman hit a jumper. It was funny.

He played ok given the lack of playing time he's been given this year. Given the fact that we ain't going to the playoffs this year, I'd definitely like to see IT give him - and Balkman - much more playing time.

And please no more QRich. I love his heart, but he just isn't doing it on the court. Sorry Q.

Thank you. I would rather see Wilson's and Nate's errors of commission rather than Q's and Curry's errors of omission any day of the week. The young whippersnappers try hard, while the fat pieces of turd just watch things go by...

Watching that video i was pretty impressed.Of course there were a couple of things that he didnt do that well. His help defense was a little slow, and after he made that AND1 it looked like he got a little excited and he felt like he was the man.But overall I liked how he played,he played pretty good man on man defense,he grabbed a monster 1 handed rebound, and I loved the way he took the ball to the rim strong after he got a steal. We need to give the kid some minutes so we know if we could rely on him in the future

Wilson Chandler is pretty good in NBA2k8. In fact, he's the star of my New York Knicks team. He won most improved from rookie year to his sophomore year. I put it on Pro though so I could post pad during the season and I change it to All Star during the playoffs.

That's how it's going to be in real life. The Wilson Chandler break out year is next year. Isiah should just let him make mistakes this season and try to coach him as well as he can because he seems coachable.

he played OK, a little nervous and anxious as to be expected, but he made some plays, hit a jumper, and you could see he has a lot of ability, just needs time, but this team is so dysfunctional, how can any young player ever develop in this enviornment...?

isiah played him because he is going to trade him. He played him against Sac so he might have a breakout game and Sac's front office would want him in a package for Artest.

Isiah is trying to figure out a way to get Artest without trading Lee, because he knows he will get JFK'd if he trades Lee.

I know most people think IT got an itchy finger and want to pull a trade, but he really has become hesitant... all that false bravado he talks about winning a championship is then countered by re-inserting Curry into the lineup while continuing to start QRich...

...followed by 30plus minutes for Steph and Crawford. One guy who he wanted to bench but lost a staredown, and the other who has an injury but still refuses to play his game alongside Steph.

On the real -- why is Fred Jones no longer starting? Not that I want him to take the young guys' minutes, but he's the logical starter at SG until further notice. Jones plays defense, takes it strong to the bucket and hits an occasional jumper...

He has more potential than Balkman IMO. He's definately a keeper.
